[Nemesis] Support Trapper Scion/Shadow Mana Shield

Hello Pam just a few questions :

You have 3 Auras linked to reduced mana on your gear, but you only ever use 1 on your videos. Do you adapt depending on map or is the video just outdated?

Do you purely rely on clarity and the 50% increased recovery speed pot for your mana? Seeing as you barely have any mana regen on your skill tree and none on your gear it makes me wonder how your sustaining the spam.

Would you consider getting %increased fire damage for the upcoming DoT patch?

What gems would you recommend to get quality onto asap?

well shadow is definitely better, I took a bit of an hit on my burn dmg but it's probably 80% of dmg pre patch, so still pretty good, I haven't done any maths yet

Quality = on the main skills, those that you can't trade at the npc with 1gcp aka fire trap, lighting trap, cold snap and bear trap



on the regular 5L, I'm lending my 6l to akira atm

Heya pam, thanks for answering my questions. Just one more :

You were considering using the double curse ring. What combination of curses would you use to perma freeze bosses? or is that even possible with cold snap? maybe with freeze mine?

Temp chain is required, cold snap helps but freezing mine is the winner. You need enough %aoe to be able to freeze while everybody else can dps
we did double palace boss with haste, minus max and it only required a bit of teamwork, dps curses on the boss

currently experimenting with the 6L, increased aoe is actually pretty good for the burn proliferate
probably going to respec the conduit/extra points toward throatseeker and play with maligaros to push the crit multi close to 750

whats ur mana pool O_O i noticed u dont go for the mana regen gear and stuff like that...like what is it without auras + ur mana regen xD cause i wanna respec to crit trapper now but like i only have 150 mana regen and i think arctic armour is just gonna consume most of my mana.. any insight on your playstyle :D?


like do u run the auras clarity + grace when solo'ing? and AA?

I'm currently sitting around 2485
mana regen is around 110 with lvl 20 clarity, but I don't think it's worth investing anything towards Arctic armor or mana regen
arctic armor is fun, allows you to facetank firedogs/tittybitches and make lmp/gmp/chaining maps easier, but otherwise it's pure bonus especially as a trapper where you have the ability to freeze mobs, and you don't have to endanger your character by going into melee.
It requires gear and skilltree investment for pure convenience, I'd rather spend half a sec to strafe my way out of crossfire rather than spend skillpoints/exalts into mana regen.
Then, the frequency of half regen/no regen maps makes it impossible to run AA, or to benefit from mana regen, I'm probably going to have to use a latvianga spirit now that my 6L pushed my fire trap at 225 mana.
Most importantly, it's not going to save you from death situation, unless you do crematorium without a ruby flask.

I'm probably going to spec out of path of the warrior, it's additive dmg for bear trap only, while it's a powerful trap, it has limited utility compared to the power of fire trap.
I'll update the guide with a definitive skilltree.

I can barely play the game with my connexion, streaming isn't going to happen
I have 4k4 armor for 50% phys reduced before grace

pohx is currently playing a build close to what I was doing 1 month ago, so there shouldn't be anything wrong to watching him
