Don't you profess to hate the game and not play it, saying it takes too much time investment, yet spend a large amount of time spouting hate towards the game on these forums?
Hi

I am sure you were sincere in your efforts to review this game but 4 months is nothing.
This game is designed to not be a instant satisfaction but a steady uphill battle that can result in amazing discoveries.

I do agree with this:Revoltofthedead

The 'crafting' is a slot machine simulator.

This game could use a orb/recipe overhaul. The orbs we have now are great starter tools but eventually you will need finishing tools, a hammer won't always do. I suggest new orbs,ie: orb of prism:rolls random number of sockets into colourless,an orb that re-rolls item level, and Recipes that depending on the rares or blue items(mods on the item) used+ basic orbs(transfusions, alterations, augmentation)to create more specialized orbs,ie:orb of cold/fire/lighting(these orbs would only roll cold/lit/fire dam/resists/% of dam,+1-2). These orbs then could be further refined via recipes with a combination of basic orbs+ higher lvl orbs(exalts, alchs, chaos, etc.) to allow the orbs to roll higher lvl mods and less chance to roll low mods.

I know this would take quite a bit but it would be great recipe/orb cohesion because I find when you get to high lvl or even over lvl 50 transfusions, alterations, augmentations, etc. become quite useless and could use a secondary use other then piling up.

Oh I get it. Calling me self righteous, so cleverly put, flew right over my head...............
To show my disdain for this post I will respond to it and keep it on the front of the boards while I ignore replying to other posts which actually are substantive. That'll show the OP.

It is not possible to play 100 hours a day.

The community here is excellent.

The game is a lot easier than you think as far as gear goes.

You just have to be persistent.

And maybe not be so sensitive.

Bye! Enjoy D3 or Pokemon or whatever you're going to play next

Completely disagree about the community, its horrible. I personally don't see this game being anything more than a "Niche game" unless massive fixes start happening. The crafting is bad, the drops are bad, you're forced playing certain builds because they can stack huge IIR/IIQ. Clear areas and getting no drops because you're playing builds that simply don't have the luxury of running lots of IIR/IIQ is bad design.

Community is very helpful if you ask for help.

Crafting isn't bad, its just not what people want so they complain, it works fine for what I want it to do

Drops aren't bad, my characters have no problem. Drops not dropping shavronne every monster is "bad" by some definitions.

You are in no way forced to play certain builds. I don't do this. I do just fine. i have had over a year of enjoyment of PoE (as has Charan IIRC) without resorting to IIR/IIQ stacking. Indeed the last time I focused on IIR/IIQ was in CB with my FPer and the IIR/IIQ gems on a 5l, and that was a LONG time ago.

Saying that you get no drops is confusing, I get drops, I sell them to vendor, get alt shards -> fusing, and if I am going self found I might go the route of getting alchs instead. I also use chaos recipe to get plenty of chaos, and if not going self found find a super cheap item for about 2-6 fusing (which takes almost no time with 0 IIR/IIQ) and upgrade that piece of gear (finding those boots with MS, life, 4l and decent stats is hard from a drop so I normally just buy them for less than a gcp through trading).

But really, the game isn't about drops. This is a misnomer. Its about killing mobs. The drops make you more powerful and make it more fun, but they are sort of the 'crutch' for why you would continue playing after you have reached level 80, is to get more items and level faster. But plenty of people just play the game without bothering to farm to level 80 cause thats pretty damn boring IMHO
