My thoughts on 1.0 details! .... Oh wait, there are no details.

I read through about half this thread and decided it was not worth my not-so-valuable time to finish it as I feel like it's just more of the same shit.

ANYWAY.

Is it so hard to just enjoy the game? Just to freaking play it and not give even the slightest fuck about it?

Now, i realize that I'm a "young" player, but from the like 20-30 hours I've played in the last few days I realized I've never put so much into any MMORPG (or ARPG idgaf about the one letter difference but there it is for whoever feels like pointing it out).

We all realize that full release is going to be a big deal....or, we think it is. What makes full release any better than every other patch? Maybe it's just going to be a larger patch than usual. That's how you should think about it. And if it's a flop GGG will probably fix it. Probably. Who knows. Maybe they'll get struck by lightning before they can get to the computers to right the dire wrongs they had committed.

Anyway, I'm going to go back to just playing the game - because it's a video game. It shouldn't be so political - as much as I love arguing the shit out of people about things like politics and religion, a video game is for FUN. Raw entertainment.

To be honest, this being a free to play game, if I hadn't seen the "Open Beta" stuff then i would have sworn this was a finished product because in it's state it's really damn good. The highest I ever get a character in an MMO is 20 before it becomes a pointless grind.

The grind here isn't as pointless, so I feel like I'm accomplishing things when I farm. Get a neat item! Get more exp for either your character or one of your 6k skill gems! :D

Either way - progress is being made and it's fun.

TLDR I ramble a lot so this is required. This game is a game, not the second coming of christ. It shouldn't be political, it should be played. I mean, to most people it feels finished (at least until level 40 or the quests run out maybe?) and relatively bug free, minus the stupid f*cking desync crap *rages endlessly at cruddy laptop.

This thread says so much more about the players than it does about GGG.

And this is exactly what I am talking about. GGG have hinted at a lot of the content but people cannot seem to read or forget or I dunno. Have we gotten in depth details? No but I imagine that we will start to get more info quite soon.

I have to say that I also do not buy into all these whining and complaining and insulting. Also saying what GGG should and should not be doing. LOL. Really I LOL and you complainers. You make is sound as though you are concerned for GGGs well being yet I think all you want is to be in the loop as to what is coming. Chill. Relax. The world does not revolve around you. People are dying to play the next chapter in the series and it is getting to their heads. That is why they are acting a bit brash. Patience. Jeez it is just one more month.


All I know is that the xpac will be awesome. You guys want to know what is going to happen come Rocktober? Player activity is going to skyrocket once again when everybody and their mother comes back to Wraeclast.

Some people like suspense. Releasing spoiler information early will not make the game any better. I'd rather see GGG make sure the fishing game is balanced properly than spend time on spoiler press releases.

i have never read anywhere that they would release act4.

Release always meant the rest of act 3. With act 4 you were just misinformed.
