My thoughts on 1.0 details! .... Oh wait, there are no details.

These self-imposed teaser and information holding policies are ridiculous. What purpose are they serving? I love how the lead developer says he "can't" give out any more information! Or how he isn't even sure if there will be a respec in 6 weeks. Just say yes or no, or even say "you will just have to wait and see". But basically saying "beats me" is an embarrassment. Just pretend like you know what will happen.

To add to that, who is Chris reporting to anyways? He can do whatever the hell he wants(see Razer footprints). Makes no sense.

And if they want to keep us in the dark until launch day then just say so. I would probably be fine with that. Otherwise this whole exercise is paramount to childish trolling. Are you adults running a company, or giggling children hiding stuff from their parents? (And for the record i'm fine with small game secrets or trolls like fishing. And not releasing info on unique items is cool as the community finds them. BUT, This is the RELEASE of the game you have been working on for YEARS. Really?)

Normally not this upset about stuff, but seriously I don't like the way GGG is going lately. And I'm not crazy upset or raging, I just don't know what the fuck is going on.

I literally have no idea if in 6 weeks this will be an Epic fail, or if it will be a release of Legends. No, that's not exciting, that's stupid. If it's the later then why the deafening silence?

Whatever I guess.

I hope they post planned changes before the release. I wanna see if I will become an Open Beta supporter or not :)

Most of the new features have probably been guaranteed to this or that gaming site as exclusive reveals to ensure increased publicity for the game in the week or so leading up to the release. That's just how the industry works.

That isn't how the "industry" works.

Edit: for clarity. If a game developer chooses to have an "exclusive" inside interview, Q & A with someone, then fine I hear you.

But to lump an entire video game industry in to some imaginary gag order in which no one talks about ongoing development is outrageous. In fact GGG has been a great example of that NOT being the case. (well at least in the past)

anyway @OP remember how much the open beta release was delayed?Ye they probably dont want to make promises they cant hold.And ye thats how the industry of gaming usually works, u cant just start talking about release 6 weeks before it comes.Its 6 weeks damn not 6 days so just be patient .Imo teasers will start coming after 0.11.6 and the few mini patches .
