btw have you tested reave? i really liked the fact youve missed the 'pickup loot, loose charges' thing. it shows A LOT about how much GGG cares about the melee part. they dont give a hoot.

I do not understand care to explain this part.

you were not the intended recipient of this message

but: check the latest patch notes: look for changes to Reave skill. and tell me how it is possible to NOT NOTICE that picking up the loot from the ground resets 'Reave charges'. theyve fixed it quickly but the fact it went into final patch (delayed several times mind you) with that bug is telling a lot. i have no idea how many alpha testers are there but if issue such as this passes the 'testing' it tells a lot about number of alpha testers playing melee.

Ah ok thx.

D3 monsters hitting you even if you dodge their animations was coded like this on purpose. Blizzard's argument was that they felt it would get very annoying very quickly for melee characters to feel pressured to run out of range of every single melee attack.

I haven't played for like 3 months and now im back, started new melee char and o man the de-sync is even worst than before but my delay to the server is still the same 40-50ms. No idea whats going on but that shat sux big time.

because to lag/rubberband in d3 you had to:

- play one of the first patches
- on a slow connection
- with greedy gfx settings

if all three were true - yep, you had some funny looking rubberbands.

playing now on a sub 100ms ping with sensible gfx settings? once or twice A DAY, maybe..

i played on a perfectly fine connection, in the first ~5 months of the game, with low graphics settings, and i rubberbanded multiple times a day playing demon hunter

I played HC from the day of the release for a couple of months, and I desynced ONCE, nearly getting me killed (also a DH, and one built around evasive fire coupled with tactical advantage).

while thus should have been caught, it wasnt. So what? I played reave exclusively and for whatever reason I didn't notice it.

Thankfully, beta caught it.
