And rly u cant survive as ci? only streamers have that good gear ? just make low life spork ,stack rarity get some currency ,respec to ci get 20/20 fp gem(1ex) 500 es chest (3 gcp) and thats it , ive had 4.5k es 5k fp dps and i was able to do lvl 69/70 maps. And no i wasnt playing all day , my school is far away from my home soo i would say i had like 2-3.5 hours to play, got all the currency and lvl 75 for 4-5 days |

Smart life users wont reserve much life for auras, anyway. This bug was exploited mostly by low-life RF-casters, who can afford to reserve almost whole HP pool.

If you really can't handle it you can always use traps to eliminate the source of reflect, or spells that hit precisely. Coincidentally, each element has such, fire has fireball and fire trap, cold has ice spear and lightning has concentrated shock nova. And yes, I know it isn't really compatible with 'slam and spam' gameplay this game turned into a shining example of. Pick an active skill or two, three tops, stack auras as much as you possibly can and grind away. I could probably train a golden retriever to do it but I guess even a dog would get bored fairly soon, cat would probably abandon the whole endeavor after approx 30 seconds and go back to chasing a piece of string. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Auras should be luxuries, not requirements unless you have a very specific build. Even after the patch, people will still mindlessly stack auras because there's no reason not to.

Well as we all know you need to stack defensive stats in this game much more than anything. Jokes haven been made before like "path of life nodes" etc. for a reason.
Fact is you need certain auras, especially in close combat/melee. You need determination to boost your armor, you need purity to have max res even after being cursed with lower res, and you wanna have grace. This means that you MUST carry all these gems plus red mana gem (and in case of life + blood magic gem) with you all the time. But still you would reserve for 5x% life if you'd cast a 40% aura which is not worth it at all if you are not low-life based. It might be intentional by the devs, but I am a little bit disappointed with the amount of information we are given on major changes. I mean this is a huge change for many builds and all we are getting is some lines of patch notes without any additional explanation or reasoning behind. I am totally aware that this bug was never intended, but then again it was in the game exploited for a long time. Therefore changes like that with big impacts on many character builds have to be explained. The intention behind the change and the direction the design is headed to in order to compensate for nerfs like that. I don't expect much wording and surely not for every single change.
