Do you have to be dual wielding daggers, claws, or swords for whirling blade to still work...or do you need to just have one equipped? Wondering if whirling blades will still work with soul taker or not, and if you are locked into swords only if using both whirling blades and leap slam?

no , all you need is one sword,dagger,or claw for it work. u can use both leap slam and whirling together

However, Bloodseeker needs to be in your main hand for Vaal Pact to apply if you're running with that.

Could anyone offer some tips or insight into using this build for hardcore leagues? Cheers

This gem can only support Skill Gems of level x or lower

Cwdt is a support gem that only supports Skill Gems linked to it. Lv Requirement of Cwdt won't effect Support Gems linked.

You can link lv20 Support Gem no prob.

you seem to misunderstand.... the gem says it supports gems of lvl xx or lower ... which is the level REQUIREMENT of the gems supported not the actual gem level. So if the gem was lvl 18 (req of 68) and the CWDT gem is only lvl 1, it will not cast.... i personally tested it out in game.

ALSO: i got the maximum endurance, was that wiser than getting 1 passive? also, how do you guys build up mana pool, im using blood magic with like 39mana left over... my reduced mana gem is like lvl 15, would lvl 20 really be much better?

Just link all skils to BM and u will be fine with that 40mana left
