(Aug 26 NZT) Hardcore No-Party Ladder Race

Had the worst start ever, with graphical glitches and missing maps had to restart after merveil.
Was very lucky with phaserun gem and 10% run speed boots in act2 This bow also saved the day even if my cruel timing was like 2:30:00

" Same thing here. Combine this with desync issues. I had about 5 close calls from level 4 to 6 in the sub passages due to desync I had to slow way down. Ping was fine. I believe this has to do with whirling blades. Love these races always fun even with the issues. | |

" Possible quick fix: alt-tab in and out. It forces a screen "refresh" and it redraws all the graphics. I had the screen go almost completely black once during the race and alt-tabbing cleared it up. EDIT: I use fullscreen mode. Not sure if it would work the same in windowed mode. So what is the general tactic top ladder players use?
Do you run through levels and ignore all mobs or wait until they gather in bigger groups and kill them? Or do you always ignore all mobs on some levels? | |
" Same here. Had 2 Alchemy Orbs but no Sledgehammer drops, upped 3RL Cooper Plate to get the Ground Slam rolling. Hoarded the last Orb for a while, finally shopped one at 20 level. Turned out nuts. Unavailable Unavailable #81 Aug-19-2012HCLadderRushSolo.

I'm not quite sure how all of the templars managed to die. I started late when the leaders were already lvl 16 so I didn't expect much and just grinded along.

" Nice! Hey if you don't mind me asking where did you find your Demigod Amulet? I couldn't find mine on either the removable tab in my stash on hardcore nor the character called "FILM_uu" which has my orbs on it. Some items in this post are currently unavailable.
