Any idea where to view the ladder of the events as they are happening? Are they just under the normal list of ladders on the website? Also, is there a place to view the previous ladder results of weekend events?

There will be a ladder on the normal list to the left. It will update around every three minutes for each character.

I think both options (party/no party) should be available in the final release.

Bah, I have a niece's birthday party that will keep me from this race. :/

Of course this is the one week I did any kind of race prep at all. I felt like I had a chance to at least stay with the top tier for the first hour.

Died once at 7mins in to server lag in lower submerged passage.
Died 27mins in to desync and get reverted in to a bunch of mobs I was running from in ships graveyard.

Is it just me or.. is it really hard to kill merveil on a witch when you are trying to race.. I didnt find any cold resis stuff and even farmed multiple maps over and over still nothing. I also couldnt buy any cold resis rings from shop since I didnt have enough orbs.. eventually bought some boots with like 9% cold resis and just tried then got owned..
