how to find rogue exiles

Pick a small area you like and just keep resetting it. I do a routine run of the cruel Twilight Strand and the Ledge before and after playing to progress/level.
Exit, pursued by a Plummeting Ursa.

I think Twilight Strand is better than ledge because it is smaller.

Patience, thousands of runs, and more patience. Seems to be the only thing working for me. I've got my cruel Strand runs down to just over 30 seconds on average. Still five to go... :(
I figure the best zones would be the starting ones, strand, forest, sarn, and maybe ledge, coves, fellshrine, or docks if your trying to level up in a area your level while looking for them. Either that or just progress as normal and just kill them when you find them, maybe eventually you'll get them all. I didn't plan on spending that much time in anarchy, but that's probably the best way to get them, just always play that league. |

The best way to find rogue exiles is when you aren't looking for them and they ambush you at the worst time possible and waste you.

Psyborg, after 600+ Cruel Twilight Strand runs and over 100 hours looking for them I think I am probably qualified to answer that. I've been at 8/13 since Normal and seen the same 5-6 many many times over.
Some Rogue Exiles are impossible to find without resorting to spaming chat with offers to pay for them... Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent.
I used to love GGG. I supported to ensure GGG remained independent, now I just wish I could get my money back. -_- |

" Im at 6/13 but have killed each multiple times. I remember someone posting that they saw almost all, but some are way more common. They said they only saw phoenix once, in a high lv map and she seemed way harder than the rest. For all I know its just rng though... |

I remember posting about phoenix a few days back. She owned my ass on a 70 map. But then I found her again at a lvl68 map later that day and I knew what to expect and cheesed killed her by running around in circles and viper strike from time to time. It took me like 10 minutes, maybe more. So she is times harder than the others at that level, at least for my melee build, cos the others at the same level die in 15 secs or less. Now I sit at 12/13 with Ash lessard never encountered - /played in game 5 days 12 hours total time.
I have also done 300+ merci ledge runs, I like farming alterations there and can tell you that there is no way chances for exile spawn are equal between the 13. Some spawn noticeably more frequently. |
