Will the energy shield node nerfs destroy my Righteous Fire build?
itt: shavronne users who are scared of losing their OPness
surprised noone else has QQed about the downside of low vision which is fairly common even though its nothing compared to the downside of a kaoms s

" Where is that ci node that makes you do double damage? |

" Not being able to see indoors is pretty annoying in some places, but the other downside no one has picked up on yet is the Shock Stacking, once you get shocked your Righteous Fire burns you for way more damage and you have to switch it off. I havent died to shock stacks yet, but my character only just hit level 67 and I'm not looking forward to facing Piety. I guess you just counter this with "remove shock" flasks. IGN: MrG. Oh I understand that concern, but saying they lowered those values BECAUSE of shav and RF is what I was calling nonsense.
Besides, without notes, everyone is getting slightly too carried away :) |

also apparently elemental adaptation is being reduced to 2% so that will hurt a fair bit as well

Correct me if I'm wrong - Shavronne's is the 2nd most expensive unique, after Kaom's. Some people seem to think that builds featuring it are generic and overpowered - but they're not, because you need to get one before you can run it, and they're not common. They're powerful, but so is any build with enough currency to buy top-tier gear.

" It's actually the most expensive unique by far, because you need to 6link it. Seen 6l shavs sell for 50 ex. Last edited by aimlessgun#1443 on Jun 3, 2013, 5:01:55 AM

Anyone could see that kaom and RF shavronnes are ridiculously overpowered. Deleting kaoms and nerfing shavronnes+rf builds is very good for the game imo.
So funny to see all the people jumping in to defend their faceroll build and the best argument they can come up with is basically "its expensive"... You could spend 100000000000000000000000 exalts on regular gear and have a perfectly rolled wand etc and still not even come close to these dps numbers without shavronnes. |

" Agreed, its that combo that is just too OP, no matter how much more you spend, there is no way you can have more dps than rf+shav+instert skill. I my self dont use rf+shav because i had an idea they were gonna nerf it eventually. |

" If I had... uhh, that many exalts... then yeah, I definitely agree I couldn't come close to those DPS numbers. My DPS would be so ridiculously high that, like you said, the damage of a Shavronne's + RF build would be less than half of what I could get with my super-expensive set of rares. Why do you think expense is not an obstacle? That's literally how life works. If I had ten billion dollars I would live in a mansion. If I had ~15 exalts I would buy a Shavronne's. I do not have either of these things, because I cannot afford them. If you could afford them, would you make use of them? Would you start up one of these 'overpowered' builds? With resources comes power. Having a small budget is always going to give you lesser results than a higher budget. I don't understand why you think differently, or why you don't think this is OK. It's not fair, but see my real life example above. IRON MAN
