Why do you think expense is not an obstacle? That's literally how life works. If I had ten billion dollars I would live in a mansion. If I had ~15 exalts I would buy a Shavronne's. I do not have either of these things, because I cannot afford them. If you could afford them, would you make use of them? Would you start up one of these 'overpowered' builds?

With resources comes power. Having a small budget is always going to give you lesser results than a higher budget. I don't understand why you think differently, or why you don't think this is OK. It's not fair, but see my real life example above.

Expense is not to be factored in the overpoweredness of an item, shav is only that expensive cause its by far the best armor to use in combo with low life and RF, if it was not that good it would not be 25ex for a plain one.

In other words, kaom and shav are the 2 most costly items because they are simply OP.

Also anyone with enough time (months) can muster up exalted orbs for those high end items, game will last for years so by balancing op combos they are doing the game a favour in the long run.

es regen delay, you use life leech anyway
-Ghost Reaver is pretty much on the right side (near shadow tree), while you have to go to templartree for ES/AR nodes + Regen and Maurauder Tree for more regen.
you use chayula for stun, frags for freeze
-Chayula and Dreamfrag's cost arround 6 Suffixes, 6 Prefixes. Thats not a disadvantage, at all eh ?

- The only OP thing is with Shav's. But people who can effort Shav's played allready long time and they pretty much deserve the DMG Boost. BTW.: Shavs removes basically only one downside.

Only thing you are crying about is that ppl, which played far longer then others, can make better builds.
Your last statement, currency wise, is not valid too. I made a RF Arc Witch with less then 20 Ex. Without Shavs, DF and Chayula. And 20 Ex can be farmed easily in less then 2 month. But you need a well thought passive tree + some very special gear parts.

2% elemental equilibrium + 4 purity + 8 Rise of the Phoenix + 75 base = 89
ALL LIFE NODES AND VITALITY = 8.9 life regen per second.

That unique created by some diamond who liked Righteous Fire is now absolutely fucking useless junk. Righteous fire will permanently be unsustainable.

Not only that, but life node nerfs, and life nerf in general.

As hard as it was to amass 12k hp, that only yielded 6kdps from RF due to 50% max life damage to minions (while 100% to yourself, always silly)

Ive 120/120 (rounded, it doesnt fit 100%) iiq/iir with a 5 link chest. 1 Ring 15/20, 1 ring 8 10. IIR/IIQ Gems with max level in that chest (+Arc +Faster Cast +Light Penetration). 15 iir helm, 15 iiq boots, 10 from the unique belt (cost 2 chaos), 25 from sadimas (cost 1 alch)

If iam Farming docks (Optimistic):
1 run 0.5 chaos. Full Docks clean < 6 minutes -> 5 chaos/h
4 hours a day -> 20 chaos
2 Month -> 60 adys -> 1200 Chaos -> 40 Ex..


Lets be more pessimistic:
1 run 0.25 chaos. Full docks clean 8 minutes. -> ~1,75 chaos/h
4 hours a day -> ~5chaos
2 Month -> 40 days -> 200 Chaos -> ~7 Exhalts

~7 Exhalts. Without any other drops, just pure junk selling, 6S, few currency drops, while 0,25 Chaos are arround 0.5 Fusings, 2 Jewelers, 4 Alts...

You posted a VERY pessimistic value there..

OT: Not quite sure, how much numbers they'll calculate, but 18% from 4max res would be overall 4,72 (purity + 18% from inner force) so you would be still at 90%. 90% is still 10% life degen per second (+ inner force).. but its still a huge amount..


E1: Im a hardcore Witch with lvl 87.
E2: With my iiq/iir i went up to lv70 maps.
E3: Fixed the amount of days.

If you farmed 3h a day for 2 months, even if zero currency dropped, most players on average will find some very valuable items worth multiple exalts. Currency drops alone are only a small part of income.
