I came here from Diablo 3!!! [Please post here if you did as well!]

Cant wait for the weekend beta!

Just found out about this game today. Very excited to see what GGG can do and move as far away from greedy companies as humanly possible. D3 had me more hyped than a game has in a while all complete with crushing disappointment.

Back in '06, a friend of mine played Diablo 2 all the time. It seemed like a game I might enjoy, but I never bothered to try it out, I didn't and don't still like to pirate games and I didn't want to pay for a game that old when, supposedly, Diablo 3 might come out sometime soon.

Well in 2012, I finally got a chance to play my first Diablo game, D3. That same friend is currently my roommate and another roommate of mine was also anticipating D3. We all went to the midnight release to pickup our pre-ordered copies.

By week 2 I pretty much despised the game and had regretted horribly having flushed $60 down the toilet. I'm a broke college kid, and I don't often drop cash for games, I try to save it for the awesome big titles I really want and the indie games that are catching my eye...but damn, I paid $60 for a game with almost NO replay value, an extremely dumbed down and spoon-fed story line, so many limitations to game play, build-choosing, character customization, and a game that doesn't include grinding for leveling and passing parts, but literally a game only about grinding to be able to maybe have a chance to pass parts and essentially hope to sell loot on an auction house to make back the money and time you wasted on it.

But now I'm very excited to play Path of Exile as soon as I can. I'm currently enjoying the Smite Beta and a few games I got during the Steam Sale, but PoE looks like it's sure to be tons of fun.

Yea I'm here from D3 as well. Can't wait to try out this game. Perfect timing, just quit Blizzard's money-grab trash yesterday. Looking forward to PoE, looks great.

Also from diablo 3, been following this and the other upcoming arpgs (torchlight / grim dawn) on and off for awhile now never taking a whole lot of interest because of my expectations for diablo 3 though with diablo not being the game I thought it would be Ive been taking a lot more interest in these games and am looking foward to the open beta this weekend.

coming from D3 too stuck on act 2 inferno and waiting here a good soul to gift me a key so i can try out this game too :(

Posting, wish the D3 economy didn't fail so hard so I could sell off my gear and get bronze/silver supporter here..
