Come here after D3. Pretty disappointed by this game, I was a big fan of Blizzard, but now I will wait few weeks for reviews.
Waiting for PoE now!

After about 1-2 weeks, I couldn't physically bring myself to play D3.

I was so hyped for it and it was the biggest disappointment ever, hopefully Path of Exile satisfies my gaming needs!

me 2. i tried to enjoy diablo 3 and when it was released i actually did . but patch after patch has made it unplayably bad. i only found out about this game today . it looks like what d3 should have been

I'm also a D3 sinner... But I have seen the light!
And in that light, there was a path... a path to exile!!!

After a grueling attempt to play D3, and then see the D3 forums full of people just as disappointed in the game I ran into threads talking about path of exile.

I am hoping this game will be great. D3 was abysmal from the concept, plot, server, and more importantly the lack of real support.

I hope this game will be able to learn and excel where activision failed.

Grim Dawn, TL2, are the other games I'm hoping will dethrone imo D2LOD as the next best aarpg.

Hello everyone.

Another D3 exile/refugee here. Played about 120 hours on it but it stopped being fun for me. Since apparently not playing like how all the "l33t" players play means I'm playing it wrong and I should learn to play like them or leave, I've decided to just exile myself.

Came across this title from a D3 forum post listing several other alternatives to D3. Of all the suggested titles, this one matches my taste the most.

I then went to look at the passive skill tree and it blew me away. The hugeness of it is just mad and yet it's concept is really simple. The developers seems to have an idea on what they are doing as opposed to the guys working on That Game.

I really love the fact that there is no gold in this game. There can't be gold farmers if there is no gold for them to farm. Plus the currency for the game are useful exhaustible items. Basically removing a need for a sink mechanism to deal with future inflation issues. Really brilliant.

Anyway, am really looking forward to this game and I hope it does well. Also, I will try my best to help raise awareness about this game among my friends. This game deserves to be known and be successful.

Diablo 3 left me craving more customizable, dark, gritty game play. After seeing this game I have hope for a true alternative. I dont have a beta key so I don't have firsthand experience but from what I've seen path of exile extremely promising. Blizzard really dropped the ball on d3 and I'm hoping the genre can be saved.

D3 exile here too. Once I heard there would be no world pvp and only arenas, my friends and I were out. PvP IS the endgame for us!

Not sure I quite count, as hard as it is to believe, I'm still playing and enjoying D3. I think I had a lot different expectactions of it than others did. Yes, it needs work, but as a time waster it's still enjoyable for me.

That said, it did bring me here. I wouldnt have known about PoE if D3 was not having issues. Once I did some reading here I decided I will definetly be playing PoE as well, will it take over more time than D3...who knows, but I have room for both so I guess that makes me a part time exile for now, I can live with that :D
