Not as "smooth" as that other game
lol... funny cuz I completely disagree. One of the first things I noticed when I played diablo 3 was that it wasn't nearly as smooth as Path of Exile. To me smoothness is one of the most important things of a game.. and diablo 3 fails at it.

" I agree with you, PoE does seem much smoother than D3 in MANY ways except just this one... the cast to move delay. Thats IT. Im confident in the Dev's ability to adjust this to a more acceptable timing. |

I agree with an earlier post about this game needing some animation canceling. For those of you who are in Dota 2 beta probably know exactly what we mean. If the dev's had access to this game they could get some great ideas in terms of movement & responsivness.

" This is a fundamental element of the game that NEEDS to be addressed. I seriously hope the Dev's have read this thread and are discussing possible solutions to it. They need to explain to us why or why not this will or wont be changed. It will have a Major affect on how PvP is handled as well as alot of otherthings.. Please Dev's can we get a response on your Perspectives/opinions about this? Even if such a change would require a few month delay to OB its necessary and I believe many would agree. Please. " By FAR! No matter what the outcome of this, I'm still going to play PoE and love it to pieces. Its an important topic and an important decision for GGG to make. The outcome of which can have a tremendous effect on the potential HUGE success of this game. They have created a masterpiece... Its like mona lisa's smile... they got her smile just perfect.. but her nose is a little big ;) tone it down a bit and its Perfect. I just want a reply as to why they will or wont change this. I'm sure ill be satisfied with whatever intelligent response they give! Just need to know WHY if by design it is like this. You guys are almost under more pressure than blizzard was to make this game absolutely perfect, they failed, you guys will succeed and prosper. This game is perfect except for that ONE thing. Which for many (not me) may be a game breaker. I mean nobody is gona be like "hey I wish I couldn't move for a little big longer after casting". I'm aware this little element can change the gameplay vs mobs quite a bit and throw off the fluidity of the gameplay if not implemented/adjusted properly. Looking for a response by the dev's in charge of this particular aspect of the game. that other company failed me completely at their attempt at an ARPG, listened to nobody's input. Ok, i had a look to the smooth after i read this thread :)
Yeah, could be more smoothy ;) I think it yould also more detailed, for example when you are getting stuck after you killed a zombi, it realy looks like a slow motion :) But i love this game! |
