Yeah, at first I was one of those people that hated on WoW, because I played Everquest for 4 years. But overall it had its time as a very good game, they just got lazy with dungeon design, and the pvp balance was god awful 95% of the time, which is what drove me away (that and pandas). The game has defects, and made some unfortunate decisions, but it provided for a very long time. Playing anything for this long will provoke burnouts :) I personally played the game in series of "pushes", as raiding content was released, than pauses, and hardly ever involved myself in prolonged grinds (I saw on other players how disappointing they get). They said they would never do it, but if Blizzard ever introduced retro servers that started off with Vanilla WoW, and then progressed into the TBC era, I'd go back in an instant.
