I don't have a problem with "Gamblecrafting." I do however have a problem with our feedback, questions, and concerns being completely ignored simply because we chose to post them on the official forums instead of the REAL official forums (reddit).

Man... just when I was starting to cool down a bit. Xendran your the damn devil!

You shouldn't be bothered that much by the Reddit thing. Maybe the devs really like it. Maybe they have lots of friends there? Who knows - so many possible explanations.
And it was 4 days ago. I'm already feeling uneasy just saying that, it's like I'm spying on people, and I wouldn't like that being done to me. But I am trying to say here that maybe it was BEFORE the posts from GGG in the "Beta Feedback State" topic?

Well... I failed. Re-reading my latest posts, all I see is qq. I wanted to avoid that at all costs, and have a legitimate constructive thread that the devs might actually get some useful feedback from.

Even some of my friends have pointed out that I am not helping my cause by ranting and whining. Not sure what happened. This feeling that my feedback should be acknowledged by GGG is purely selfish and unreasonable and I have no idea why I felt entitled to that.

A fine example of why you shouldn't post while upset :P Now that I have calmed myself I feel like I owe an apology to everyone. Whining and ranting on the forums really gets you nowhere. I put a lot of effort in writing my original feedback, and I would hate for it to be dismissed because of my recent behavior.

If anyone wishes to discuss map progression here, I would be thrilled to participate. But I am done ranting, whining, and feeling butthurt. I will do my best to continue to come up with ideas for possible solutions to endgame rng.

Thanks to my friends for pointing this out to me. And I am sorry for getting so bent out of shape.

I recall you saying something about beer, so you probably got hammered and started posting.

Lol, beer is NEVER the problem. It is the solution to all of life's problems.

I lied, I thought of another suggestion. Don't close thread yet Charan :P

Will update as soon as I have gathered my thoughts.

Update: added the following idea to suggestions.

8. Since you (GGG) think we aren't running hard enough mods and that we are choosing certain mods for their ease, I propose a suggestion to fix both problems. Combine certain mods together into one mod. This will allow us higher iiq while running maps with said mods. At the same time it will add difficulty to these mods. For example, combine the "fleet" mod with the "of champions" mod. This allows us to still use the mods best suited for map drops, but adds increased difficulty AND more iiq. Another example would be to combine the "labyrinthine/massive" mods with the "of suffering" mod. Ofc you would need to come up with new mods to replace the ones that are being combined so that we still have randomness to our mods, but the overall idea is to take the mods we are running, and make them harder (which you wanted) while making them even more rewarding.

I wanted to take a min to re-post this as it kind of got buried in my river of tears. I actually like this suggestion a lot. I think it makes a lot of sense and provides a solution to both player and dev problems with map mods.

If you posted something that was valid, but in a manner that was aggravated which given this games flawed and archaic systems which are HOPEFULLY placeholders or at least not set in stone due to how they hold the game back in many views, and your friends used terms such as "whining, butthurt, crying"

You need new friends, those ones are rubbish.

When someone dismisses your ire, instead of rationally trying to calm you down and channel what you're saying, they have value as a friend, if they just use derogatory term to "appeal to ridicule" they're not worth a damn... just my 2 orb or jewelry's
Well... my last few posts were far from valid. My friends didn't use those terms, merely pointed out that I wasn't helping my cause with the things I was posting. I was the one that decided my posts were whining. I didn't mean all of them, just the ones that were fueled by anger.

It's still a valid point, I just wanted to make sure my friends weren't sullied by it.

I will do my best to continue to come up with ideas for possible solutions to endgame rng.

Why would you do that? It's like telling Blizz "Guys, I'm thinking on a system to randomise raiding. It will ease your pains with scripting and lore, let's throw in RNG and it will work way better, lemme just find a good way to do it!"

How can you fight RNG, when GGG it's loves this crap? What possible weapons and ideas could you posses that might change their core ideology?

And you're a guy of extremes, Dragon. Falling from being constructive to disappointment, then trying to return to constructive. I hope you're not taking this the wrong way, I think it's obvious I like your person (in a safe, non gay way lol).

I personally understood why you were angry. When you talk to the walls, you get frustrated - it's a fact. My solution to this is making fun of stuff, even of myself, and be cynical.

But all in all, your anger and disappointment was just a natural result of ignored feedback and effort. It was not entitlement.

These being said, which I hope again, you won't take it the wrong way, good luck with the next cycle of being constructive :) What else can I say :\

0_o they didn't post it though?

And you can't have them ALL be valid, jeebus someone posted that there wasn't a standard mmo character creation screen/system in this game and that the graphics were "clunky" so why would your posts be any LESS valid than that? lol

Don't get me wrong, I think we all know what you mean, passion can very quickly get misinterpreted but it's not something that you should out and out discourage, just be a bit more mindful and hope like many of us do, that you have more "epic +1" moments than you do "epic claims of QQ"

Then again, there's a few on this forum that literally have the ability to articulate well, and resort to mindlessly spamming borderline ad hominem garbage. You're far from that far gone :P
Just don't let folks shut you up with the "appeal to ridicule" fallacy, this is a BETA, you're meant to give feedback. It's yours, it's subject to change, but don't shy away from it, OWN IT.
