Until GGG grows a pair and puts a stop to this it will only get worse.
I really don't want to hear any "buyer beware" BS about this. They are ripping people off of hard earned currency. They have tried this quite a few times on me already.
so what you do is that you start screen recording, ask for trade, record everything. Then when wrong item is placed, write in chat about it to capture response.
Then you e-mail GGG support with the trade URL (provind that you wanted a 6L item) + chat logs + URL to video on youtube.
That is super clear proof and should get account banned / warned.
