Kiwis
It isn't really an advantage because you'll have mules and access to shared stash space.
People need to think before they start being pedantic. If it held like 20+ slots then yeah, it'd be a little unfair but for something like slots it really is blowing it out of proportion |

" That is a bit absurd when you look at the cost of a stash tab ($3) versus the actual amount of data you're saving (kilobytes). I'll get to server load in a bit. As for pay2win, I'm sure the korean games are doing great. I'm just not playing them, and I know I won't be playing this if they move to pay2win. Sad to see that you decided to hyperbolize instead of adding value. " You really need to read what I wrote before putting on your hater goggles. I already said it's something that can be done with muling. To hopefully bring you up to speed... For both the "stash tabs" case and the "muling" case, the M.O. is grab every rare you see and stash it. Now compare: - "stash tabs" can now use a browser plugin to just search for matches and convert them all to orbs in one fell swoop. Even without any code, it's very easy to sort in one stash on one account. - "muling" either enters them by hand somewhere else or gets to write a tiny little db and scrapes a stash page for each account (adding webserver load). After finding the matches, somehow automate moving matches between accounts (speaking of server load, I can't imagine that having "transfer instances" filling up the game server is a good thing either). Personally, in an hour of chaos grinding, I'll run across ~7 character inventories worth of rares, or about 3 stash tabs (a stash tab is 12 rows to the character inventory's 5). Assume that finding the matches takes zero time for both cases. In the "muling case" I'd first have to transfer out every rare (~7 trips back and forth to town from the farmer to the instance, then ~7 trips back and forth from the instance to the mule stash), and a similar but smaller process to handle all the matches and then finally move all the alchs into the bank. Since this is time-sensitive (any time you waste optimizing your alchemy grinder is time you could be out farming some more), you'd be losing game advantage (in a league-based game) by not having stash tabs. Not just a little either, but I'd say my gut number is multiple alchs per hour with lost experience as well. And lastly, I don't expect very many people to do this. I'm sure as hell not doing it -- I don't need a second job. For the people that are making money in secondary markets and for the people trying to grab top spots on the ladder, it's a required purchase and the very essence of pay2win. (It also deflates the value of alchs and regals, but that's not necessarily terrible.) EDIT: words EDIT2: being able to "mail" items back and forth removes a lot of this worry as muling catches up to stash tabs in a real hurry. Still seems like the better solution is to just have a second look at the alch/regal recipes. Last edited by pneuma#0134 on May 2, 2012, 11:03:30 PM

" Hmm... my thoughts are: Why not make an additional kiwi/pet stash slot (one square) an item drop that you can *use* on your pet to add one (or random number) backpac slot per "bag orb" I think it should be a rare drop and have a max of 5 single orb sized slots per pet (or so). That way there is no advantage - its the same as finding say a jewellers orb that increase your gem socket numbers in an item, though I would hope pet stash orbs would be a heck of a lot rarer. If u dont have a kiwi (or a future "pet")you can trade these pet slot orbs to other players for other orbs or items you want - keeping game economy intact, no pay to win, and would be awesome if the items your pet carried were saved when a HC character dies - everything but what the pet holds ends in default. |

Well I decided to get a kiwi, just in case the little buggers do come in handy later on.
He's kind of nice to have around actually, I call him George .....And that's all I have to say about that.

About the Kiwi: One thing I did ask the devs to do, was to put your character name above the Kiwi when somebody mouses over the kiwi. Currently, you don't know whose it is. Would be nice if it read [Character name]'s Silver Kiwi, [Character name]'s Diamond Kiwi, etc.

" The kiwi is a bonus, just a little thing to show off in game. In exchange for the money you donate you receive points to spend in the shop, features will be added shortly. 10 bucks is less than the cost of a movie ticket, if you can spend 10 bucks for a 1 to 2 hours of entertainment, I see no reason why you shouldn't donate at least 10 dollars towards something that can entertain you for months. "the premier Action RPG for hardcore gamers."

Please don't turn this game into another pay2win farce. I'm happy with a donation being just a donation.
PS: Man that Tv is expensive. I only pay like 20$ for mine and think even that is too much. Last edited by Blacknsilver#2348 on Jul 31, 2012, 10:32:56 AM
