Kiwis

I'm not a New Zealander but would suspect this
idea of turning a Kiwi into a mere mule to amuse
your petty needs would be considered a affront of the
most serious sort.

I don't see extra bag space as game breaking by any means. It is added convenience just like extra stash tabs imo. It does give an advantage just like extra stash space, but just like you can create extra accounts to artificially create more stash space you can go back to town to clear up inventory space. Its just paying for convenience really.

Little known fact: Kiwis were actually driven to near extinction because they were being used as pack mules. Banks used them to transport coins to their destination and they were often intercepted by bandits.

Horses were used in many other places, camels in some, but down there it was kiwis.

(I'm joking if it's not obvious :P)

It would be quite an advantage in a party, wouldn't it?

a scant advantage at best in a party situation. you can always just ID the junk you have, and inevitably toss the majority out as it will give you no orbs or shards for resell. As i said before i dont think this is much of a game breaker of huge advantage for a player over another.
But i also think its a pretty secondary concern to other things.

As far as I know GGG is rather opposed to selling power for real world money so I don't believe they'd consider having extra space with them. I'd rather not that either.

Chris mentioned on some topic that Kiwi's will get even more awesome in the future, i think i heard Chris say somewhere that they want to make the kiwi dance whenever a rare/magical item drops... That would be awesome :D

I would also like the idea of a kiwi running towards rare items / orbs and waiting there untill you pick it up, that wouldn't be a gamebreaker at all, just another funny thing Kiwi's could do :o

I desire for my Kiwi to go roll in the blood of my fallen enemies to act as a standard of my brutality in battle.

They'll see this glimmering kiwi run around a corner, covered in blood.

To those who actually didn't think this through: Extra Stash tabs will be there forever, Kiwis are only there until the "Support period" will end, after which they will only sell normal microtransaction points. Making Kiwi's do something else than being cosmetic would be giving an advantage to the people who donated to the game, and that is not what GGG wants the game to be.

(Or that is how I've at least understood the meaning of Kiwis, and if it's not how I've understood then I see no reason for them to give them out in the first place)
