Not on PoE.

Then come back when u get 1, you must have experienced in the way they ban, 1 chance for you to appeal ( yes 500 character no more) and 1 message as their final desicion. Good luck. :D

Please explain what any of that has to do with my comment and what extra information personally going through that process provides over reading the 100000000000000000000 (or so) posts about it.

NOTHING changes the fact that what you posted is not a 'ban reason'. Your opinion, my opinion, their opinion... NONE of it is relevant. What you posted wasn't a reason.

Edit: I've finally understood that you were not implying that the image in your post contained an official ban reason, that you were just posting your opinion (stated as a fact), and that the image only served as a meme to support your opinion.

Your opinion is that GGG is banning legit players so those players will return with a new account which they will re-purchase MTX for. Your 'support' for this claim is that GGG allows banned players to continue playing on a new account rather than permanently banning the player (which would be impossible with current technological limitations).

Apologies for my misunderstanding.

you can ask GGG to transfer your MTX to the new account

You can't transfer MTX even if the other account isn't banned/locked and never was.

"All transfer requests are reviewed on a case by case basis by a senior member of staff, and in extraordinary circumstances such as a purchase being made on the wrong account, we can consider doing so. I'm afraid, in this case we are not able to make an exception to this policy for you."

Even what you quoted mentions 'case by case basis'. Lots of posts reference GGG moving MTX from a banned account to new account for player, 'cutedog'. Yet lots more reference an MTX transfer denial; so yes, it definitely doesn't seem like something to count on...but not possible?

My original statement, "*If* GGG transfers MTX the claim that they just ban players so those players will purchase more MTX is false." was just an attempt at providing a logical path towards refuting a ridiculous claim. I guess I should have used something with more conclusive evidence than a maybe/if.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe they allowed it for CuteDog, because he's popular streamer and him having MTX will allow him to popularise the game.

Also I remember reading that on reddit, but was there actual source? CuteDog's account was registered Joined: Dec 18, 2012 and it felt like he used this account, was he really banned? And maybe he just got unban.

I just tried to google it and there isn't single evidence about him being banned.

Well you're right, most whales would just leave the game in case of being banned, even more likely if the ban was applied for nothing.

You're welcome.
In fact we want more specific reasons when they ban us rather than a general quote from the terms of use.
What if we start over again with new account and made same mistake that we didnt know as last times?
What if the admin staff ban us by mistake ? We dont know.
This is so unprofessional and unfair.

Till now i believe that the own of this thread doesnt know the reason why his friend's account got banned. :D

Yeah, I was also unable to find any evidence. It could very well just be hearsay. I think GGG's official stance (roughly), "It's our policy to not transfer MTX but we'll review each situation on a case by case basis." is much more telling. There are also posts on Reddit claiming EU law requires online companies to refund or prove guilt in the event that an EU resident is banned after making a purchase but I've likewise not been able to find any actual evidence of that. It also seems pretty far-fetched.

I agree those are valid concerns, especially given how broad certain sections of the ToS are (looking at 7h specifically--how many players are in violation of this just by playing normally with their friends :|). But players not knowing the specific reasons for their bans is a far cry from an organized movement to ban players to generate extra MTX revenue.
