Doesn't help those using Auzentech soundcards :/ Auzentech is dead.

installed this driver after removing custom drivers from Daniel K, i can say i dont get the 'cant enter isntance bug' or hard crash of the client after using these drivers........BUT.......now i have constant crackling suond like the buffer cant keep up.....went into my BIOS and chanced pci patency from 32ms (lowest/fastest) to 64ms, 96ms, and finally 128ms (slowest communication speed between pci devices possible) and it didnt help at all

cant someone from the audio staff please comment on the audio latency or buffers this game employs?

the poster above that pointed out the new creative driver helped us be able to use hardware sound now, but i went back to software because this game doesnt even take advantage of my xfi regardless in terms of what this card is capable of doing.

X-Fi Elite Pro with the set-top box btw. not a fatality or xtreme gamer. the model i have is the absolute top of the line xfi...........i would imagine people who have top of the line cards should be getting a fix (ATLEAST AND UPDATE) on this situation in a timely manner. it has been almost 2 years since anything regarding a fix for us have heard anything

cant any audio staff please comment on this issue and keep us informed? i hope i speak for alot of people, not just myself, when i say it would be greatly appreciated for some sort of update other than the typical 'we're working on it'

thank you guys. now time to play for an hour or so
