Trading is the worst experience I have in this game

I agree that buying maps is a huge pain. Here's two ideas that might make it slightly less painful though.

1. Don't make offers on the dirt cheap prices, I just skip the first screen or two of offers on the list.

2. Buy multiple maps at one time.

So for example, if I wanted a Bazaar map. The cheapest ones are 1 chisel but I find offers a few screens down for more that the seller has a few Bazaar maps listed. So I click the whisper link and get the message copied into my clipboard. When I paste it into the chat box, I add in how many to buy. For example,

@[account removed] Hi, I would like to buy 5 of your Bazaar Map (T7) listed for 2 chisel in Delve (stash tab "~price 2 chisel"; position: left 1, top 1)

It is still a pain but I think I get a much better response rate.

Sure. A lot of other problems would arise though.
People who have problems with trading in poe are usually lazy, impatient, new or just stupid. A combo works too.

Most justifications of the trading system either make no sense at all or are just so easy to prove wrong.

"Its good that its a terrible annoying system because you want to make the game harder and higher end gear would destroy that" - So obviously false as the gear inflation from leagues likes Incursion or Delve both destroy any ease of finding gear

"It promotes player interaction" - In a negative, frustrating, immersion breaking way

"I dont like Diablo III / trading destroys games" - But we already have trading, so the harm is already there, but its non-immersive, frustrating way. So the problems of trading are here, but to make up for those problems, they just want to put a splinter in your eyeball when you use it. Yay, balance.

"Read the trade manifesto" - Long winded version of three points above.

Try buying something during a flashback league. It will make you rage.

Price fixing was a problem last league and the league before that and this league as well. But it's less than the previous leagues. Also less scams this league.

The poorjoy price scamming at the start of this league was annoying though. I couldn't figure out the real value at some point.

Buy maps in bulk. Odds of a successful trade increases with more currency being offered. Run your one bazaar and then sell the rest. Or just keep them since Shaper and Elder influence might land on it anyway.

I have to agree with the original poster. Having to spend about ten minutes to buy a map and then only spending a few minutes to run the map just gets tiring. They need to fix this.

I AGREE.

Been playing this game since beta, and done my fair share of supporter packs and points, but I'm not spending any more money until this shit is "fixed".

I know it won't be, so that's that.

Nope, the game system that forces players to "interact" without providing proper tools for that, is SHITTY.
