3.3 Doomfletcher Pathfinder Low Budget Build+Explanations [U-Atz][Shaper][U-Lab][T16] viable

Hey exxidus,

many thanks for the build. I am having a lot of fun with it.

One question I do have though: I just switched from Ice Shot (linked with Pierce, Physical Proj., Volley) to Tornado Shot (same links). Tornado Shot seemingly does a LOT less damage than Ice Shot. Clear speed is barely half and single target damage is also abysmal...

Am I doing something completely wrong? Will Tornado Shot get better and be able to outperform Ice Shot? If so... how and why? :)

Many thanks,
Boergen

definitely wrong links :) ele dmg with attacks, phys projectile and greater multiple projectiles.

Tornado Shot lives from more projectiles - thats why the 2 projectile enchant on devotos is worth 20 ex :)

And you have to shoot a little behind the enemy for most damage
Thanks! I switched out the links and it's definitely better. However, GMP is not available until level 38.

I'll stay with Ice Shot until GMP is available. That may also be a good tip for the guide (as it is a low budget / beginner guide).. Switching to Tornado shot without having GMP available will only cause pain. :)

Works also with LMP if you cant wear GMP yet.

I would recommend you to use LMP even with ice shot - more projectiles is always better for speed leveling :)

adapted the Leveling Guide a little

Added Point Blank Pro/Contra and description how point blank is calculated with tornado shot and why I dont recommend it if this build is ment as a speed farmer (low budget)
Hello, ive started with Ahfacks build but im really struggling. Im new and this game is still complicated to me, dont know what to do and what to buy to not waste all of my "money"

My character:
https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/nikoafc/characters

1. See my bow and armor are they linked properly? Does order have any meaning? Ive been told it doesnt but i can see in both builds u guys recommend to put gems in particular order.

2. Rare items, some of them listed in Ahfack build are so expensive i have no knowledge about prefixes suffixes, enchanting and its been confusing to me when im looking and trying to buy some stuff because i dont know if i can upgrade these items later on. I heard some of them might have blocked suffixes and prefixes or sth like that ;D Would you recommend me sth?

3. Some of yellow mobs are impossible to kill for me. Their life is 0 but they still alive and cant kill them why?

My budget is around 10ex if u could write what can i buy with examples i would be grateful

Cheers
if exxidus doesn't get to you first Ill look over your stuff and write up something tonight.

First thing said: your Wise Oak is not really working well right now because your resistances are not balanced - this is a rather hard part of this build but can be achieved with jewels and rare gear crafts (masters in your hideout on the workbench or blessing font for jewellery)

Also i would recommend you to respec point blank ... your gear is not good enough yet to insta kill everything and for mapping you are better off without it - if you dont survive close combat / can tank anything

Drillneck has the wrong corruption if you play tornado shot. Tornado Shot is a 100% piercing shot, therefore additional pierce corruption is useless, you need bow attacks fire an additional arrow

abyssus has a rather high % phys dmg increase, you can get for a few c ... 42% for 2c for example - which is 3% less phys dmg taken

Remove the Mana bottle - you should have enough mana leech with the lioneyes claw node

1)
The particular order only matters if you do not have a 6 Link. With order in this prio we mean:
1st best gem: Tornado Shot
2nd best gem: Elemental Damage with Attacks
3rd best gem: Physical Projectile Attack Support
4th best gem: Greater Multiple Projectiles (4 link is mandatory and easy to get)

then if you have a 5 link the next gem you need to link (for highest damage output): Chance to Bleed

and only if you have a 6 link you will also choose: Mirage Archer Support

This being said, your links are correct. The order you place 5 gems in a 5 linked chest doesnt matter if you make tornado shot - greater mult - bleed - ele dmg - phys proj or tornado - bleed - ele - phys - greater ... same output.

Doomfletch upgrade: http://poe.trade/search/ayahihitobusir (linking it yourself is in average more expensive then a 6 linked for 4-5 ex)
drillneck upgrade: http://poe.trade/search/ahitanitaomeba
abyssus upgrade: low budget: http://poe.trade/search/akogubakonniku higher budget: http://poe.trade/search/ronatedenohoma highest budget: http://poe.trade/search/mahusiniugekad 2 secondary projectiles for tornado shot is the best enchant you can have
poachers aim jewel: find a jewel with 1 or 2 resistances for balance your wise oak, life or life% and damage / damage to bow attacks or so - something like this for example: http://poe.trade/search/okahitamiuroga
amulet: easy upgradeable http://poe.trade/search/oritiasugikima and also you can try to balance your resistances with the amulet as there is a big opportunity to balance this the linked amulet you have more fire resistances and on a few you can also craft another resistance to very different resistances. phys dmg to attacks on amulet is a huge bonus
rings: both of your rings are kind of wierd :) http://poe.trade/search/ahimonamaretes here steel rings for optimal damage and phys dmg to attacks instead of any element to attacks ... also you can look here to balance your resistances - you can for example if you miss 20 fire res and 10 light res specifically search for a ring with 20 fire res 10 light res (and might be lucky) or try to balance the last missing resistances with jewels
belt: I would prefer a abyssal belt. Elemental damage with attacks and life is prio - resistances are not always needed, because you get so much resistances from wise oak and pathfinder during flask duration, so you dont even need max res in hideout. also abyssal jewels with life, dmg when killed recently are nice

2)
www.poeaffix.net there you can look at gloves evasion for example and see what pre and suffix are possible and which item level is needed for which range

your resistances right now are:
fire: 79%
cold: 130%
light: 109%

thats why you only get -10% dmg taken from fire damage and +10% dmg dealt from cold damage

you should try to buy gear according to balancing your resistances to

fire - cold - light: 100 (example value - it should be the same) ... so right now for example get rid of a few cold res on your items and get fire res +30 fire -21 cold for example would give you 109% of all resistances right now

3)
0 life and dont die - there is usually a rare or a totem standing with "your allies can not die" (little red totems or a mod from a rare monster)

Southbound Soldier Gloves is the reason for not dying mobs. You need to have bleed to finish them off. Those gloves can be sometimes really annoying.

oh ok, yeah didnt see them.

Your hits can only kill frozen enemies. I recommend you just take some rare gloves with increased projectile implicit, high life roll and resistances (where resistances can also be low just to balance wise oak as you have always max res with pathfinder after drinking the bottles)
