I'm getting the same thing. I was having no problems at all in the Throwback league and then I started having a random disconnect about once every hour or so. After 3-4 times it start happening every couple minutes. I usually use the Texas server and have tried both the California and Washington servers too. However I can't even get past the intro loading screen with those. I monitored my CPU usage and the MTR while a disconnect happened and... nothing. The CPU was fine and only at a max of 50% with 0 package loss in the MTR.
WinMTR TX: https://pastebin.com/YSQgFV3B WinMTR Cali: https://pastebin.com/6DEgqdsb Doesn't seem like any problems at all with the network. Also tried restarting, verifying the cache on steam, other servers, disabling the engine multi-thread, and even just different characters. The only thing I haven't tried was the PoE standalone launcher which I'm installing right now. (Stay tuned!) The games become a bit unplayable and right at the beginning of the race too.. Is there a solution at all? Last edited by A_RandomWhiteGuy#7239 on May 8, 2018, 2:43:47 AM

i guys. I was having this annoying problem here too. I finally solved after put on Steam inicialization options these lines(separated by espace): --nopreload --nologo --gc 1
The most important think is the "gc 1". It increases the load time a lot, but WORKED for me. The "gc 2" didn't work for me. | |

While this issue is typically annoying for a couple of minutes before things decide work it's particularly problematic during a release. I'm sure there are a lot of other people experiencing the whole "7k in queue, you wait, finally lets you in, unexpected error, 40k in queue".
That being said, most games now seem to have terrible launch days/weeks, but it would be nice to have one go smoothly. |
