vaal pact nerf was needed since it trivialize anything that could not 1 shoot you, question here is if GGG is going to tone down all those surprise you are dead stuff now that VP will no longer make chars inmune to everything but 1 shots.

Oh and speaking of Grim Dawn, it is only always online with an actual economy away from being on par or better than PoE. A good portion of the famous PoE streamers have played the new contents of Grim Dawn and liked the game A LOT, but being mostly an offline game prevented it from being the true rival to PoE. As much as I love PoE for a long time, Grim Dawn as grown to me a lot throughout the years and last month got me to love Grim Dawn even more than ever before. I am not going to stop playing PoE permanently, but I am not going to be playing a lot as I used to. I will come back in 3.1 to play more PoE, but I am not sure how long I will play before I get burned out again. " Remove instant logout as well, and it will be possible. The root cause of all these balance problems is the existence of instant logout. GGG wants to kill players, but as long as players have instant logout, the only way they can be killed is via onehots/sudden massive spike damage. Except VP provided a pretty reliable workaround to massive spike damage by giving you massive spike recovery. So as long as you had something to leech from, oneshots were the only thing that could kill you. Now burst damage is back in the game, which should allow GGG to tone down things at least a little. But don't expect major improvements as long as instant logout still exists. |

Thank you GGG for this vaal pact nerf. All my most fun builds are dead. Firstly you should nerf all those mirrored gear.
If someone wants to play with vaal pact - its his choice. If you dont want to play it - just dont. This is real diversity. I will stop funding you. Just so you know. And what about atlas? It will be completly reseted? Playing all those shitty t1-t7 maps again is not fun. I spent too much time for completing it. Worst patch ever. |
