Best ways to make money in this game?

DO NOT grind to get rich. You'll miss the point of this game and will burn out.

Make (or follow) a cheapish and fun build. 90% of the builds in this game are serviceable and can be made starting with 5-10 chaos, currency you'll have by the end of Cruel.

Then just run higher and higher level maps, sell good rares for a reasonable price and collect currency.

Upgrade your build. See it grow. Set a goal for yourself-do you want a good weapon? Would a pricy unique be an upgrade, but not mandatory?

Do not aim for "being rich". This league I farmed up money for Shavs.

I made THE MOST GENERIC storm call build ever. It was minmaxed for damage and it has ok survivability, but it literally has no soul. It's just expensive items stacked together.

And truly expensive items arent build enablers. They are just vanity/optional upgrades, like Voll amulet.
