Hey ahfack i am running your build following the life path for now and will try and switch to ES later. I don't really see you using ice spear to trigger EE/EO here. Is it worth only on bosses? how does it work in the build exactly? Im still really low level and will take things slow but I was curious since at 35 you already put EE into the tree.

On the Dragon coil ring it adds cold damage to attacks, so every time my shield charge hits a pack they get -50% fire res, but I rarely crit with it. Until you use orb of storms on endgame bosses, Ice spear is definitely a viable non-self-cast automated way of keeping your EO up

You need to get level 23 purity of fire to get max fire res to get more max fire res. You can do this by one of the following - 1. lvl 20 purity of fire in an unset ring with "+3 socketed gems" mod
2. lvl 21 purity of fire with lvl 3 empower
3. lvl 20 purity of fire with lvl 4 empower

You need boots with more ES. Use Sin Trek or Steppan Erd or Rainbows, they are cheap and will get the job done.
Get Bated Breath unique chain belt. You'll get way more ES that way.
Get some gloves with the "sockets gems do 30% more damage over time" essence craft mod. Then put righteous fire, increased area effect support, elemental focus support, and increased burning damage support gems in there.
Why do you have 3 enlightens linked in your weapon??? These are wasted slots.
Why do you have minion speed gem?? Wasted slot
Why Lightning warp?? Wasted slot
What are iced bite and reduced mana support doing in your 6-link? i dont think iced bite is doing anything for you, this should be rapid decay.
Use a lower level clarity if it is taking too much of your mana.

Thanks man. My gems are a mess for sure. I'll fix them asap. I think I swapped them and mistakenly put the green gems in the wrong spot. Thank you for your time. Enlightens are just leveling up so I just tossed them in there for the time being. Not sure if I'll get to level 3 by leagues end.

Hey I can't speak for him, but the Ray enchant on an 84 hubris is REALLY cheap (or at least it was), so I would start out with that and just chaos or alt spam until you hit something decent.

I'm currently waiting for RF enchant to lower because I think it'll be better for my playstyle since I'm usually mapping and hardly scorching at all. Plus, my RF seems to hit much harder than my Ray atm due to not having a lvl 4 Empower and lvl 21 Ray gem.

I say get whatever enchant suits you the best. That's the beauty of this build, you can really make it your own and change a lot of things around to your liking. I preferred scorching ray damage at the time since I was doing guardians/shaper and the RF aoe had not been buffed yet. I wound up going with reduced mana reserved because it allowed me to run every single one of my auras, and put RF in the 4L gloves while keeping level 21 lightning warp as my mobility skill as a 3L.
