might have something to do with the type of crime being committed.

My Wage-gap-myth-type bullshit is off the charts with this one.

My mistake for writing this way.

"
Decades of research have shown that the criminal courts sentence black defendants more harshly than whites. But a striking new investigation of sentencing disparities in Florida by The Sarasota Herald-Tribune expands our understanding of this problem in two important ways.

It exposes the fact that African-American defendants get more time behind bars — sometimes twice the prison terms of whites with identical criminal histories — when they commit the same crimes under identical circumstances. It also shows how bias on the part of individual judges and prosecutors drives sentencing inequity.

"
The war on drugs weighs particularly heavily on black defendants. The police target their neighborhoods, herding people into a court system where judges are demonstrably harder on black offenders. The report found that nearly half of the counties in Florida sentenced African-Americans convicted of felony drug possession to more than double the jail time of whites — even when their backgrounds were the same.

I've heard about black people being more likely to go to jail for pot use for the first time in a stand up show.

the joke was more or less like this:

"
"So, pot has been legalized."
*Audience cheers*
"What are your guys cheering? If you are white, it has always been legal for you"

And then I researched I found out that if you are black you are more likely to go to jail in the US for just pot use.

It's one of the reasons that I think marijuana should be legalized on every state of the US.

Edit: Oh, and I guess unequal sentencing too. On top of criminality as role model.

Edit2: Now excuse me, I've got to drive somewhere while listening to "Dirty Deeds (Done Dirt Cheap)" at Max volume.

There is truth to that song. But I kinda thought that we were talking about the justice system...

I think it's kinda hard to not summon snoop dogg when we are talking about black people right? (that is joke(?))

Maybe if people didn't kill black people role models(MLK) so often they would have better ones. (that is a joke)

Oh and by the way, I found out these days that snoop dogg is 20% native american (just a fun fact ._.)
I know, I was surprised too, but he does look like 20% native american I suppose...

Pepe is dead:

"
Furie then launched a campaign to #SavePepe, calling on people to post "peaceful or nice" images of the frog. It didn't work, and Furie has decided to kill off his now-infamous character. As was first reported by Comic Book Resources, Furie posted a new installment of "Boy's Club" that features Pepe in an open casket, surrounded by the strip's other three characters.

Funny thing is that the dude who created it was a Hillary supporter. I may laugh at the irony, but it must be very sad for him to see his frog being used for people he dislikes.

[Removed by Support] :P

Edit: more seriously, there is an actual bias against men in the justice system, one that very heavily favor women. It does need to be addressed.

In all seriousness though, gangsta rap has had an effect on urban culture which has been as pernicious as it has been pervasive. I don't mean to single out Mr. Broadus specifically.
