No incentive levelling past 90 in standard
I think you really should try HC. There you can prove yourself that you can lvl char to 90 and have enough skills! Otherwise no, I don't believe you you have the skills.

But then came drop rate nerfs, technical problems, now an XP nerf and we are back at square one. " indeed , the way i see it , if you dont have access to rotation groups or rich/lucky gents with high maps you will burn an healthy amount of currency trying to level your character past 90 when you can run a 1 chaos map and get 1% exp .... you do the math and buy an exalt or 2 instead. and 1 chaos is dirt cheap Last edited by Saltychipmunk#1430 on Jul 11, 2016, 9:09:23 AM

Max level should be 200 so we can get more passive points LUL
Make a save system like Astonia 3 has cause you get 1 hit by random shit in this game Combined SC & HC into one league so we have more players and less servers (flag the player as HC when he creates a new char then if you die just have the system auto delete or lock then delete the char) Some type of bonus for hitting 100 (if we get max level 200) sort of like Dofus +1 ap/mp? bonus (this is a BIG bonus as ap allows you to use more/better spells and mp allows you to move/use move spells) Raise exp for killing mobs +0~5 your level anything beyond +5 same exp as +5 Lower exp for killing mobs -0~5 your level anything below same as -5 etc I cant even make my own build with the 2 skill points we get from 1-100 yo Last edited by Lynerus#6363 on Jul 11, 2016, 8:37:05 AM

This is an old argument. And OP, I agree to an extent, but at the same time nothing really needs to be changed.
Most people don't bother after 90 because the progression is too slow and the rewards are negligible for the time invested. They just start a new character, wait for a new league, etc. I have one level 90, and will eventually get back to progressing her through high level maps. What I do like is that for those of us who just enjoy the mindless gaming of an ARPG, we're still getting some sort of progression out of it. Even if that progression is slow, it's still an eventual build-up of XP towards the next level (provided we don't die in the process). And beyond that it's also adding XP to extra gems and making our accounts a little richer every day. So while the ideal level cap may be 90 or anything less than 100, imposing that cap would eliminate a big incentive for those of us who enjoy mindless ARPGing. ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄

a soft cap is fine if it didn’t also cost a ridiculous amount of money for the privilege to grind at that level
ill grind .5% maps all day if it didn’t cost me multiple exalted orbs to do it. die once .. oh fuck that is 30 c wasted . it is an awful feeling. |

so basically the only viable characters that have the privilege to level are functionally immortal and if you dont make them functionally immortal then dont bother playing.
a rather sad and rigid scenario . maybe that is why the current powerful build happens to be a dude with 8000 hp 2000 life regen and earth quake. and i haven’t. i am still trucking along to 92 . 90 - 91 was done in 1 sitting. Rather i am simply unwilling to spend all my money trying to make exp bar move a little nudge. even without dying the grind is heavy on the wallet . that is my limit i suppose. i see teir 11+ maps as a glorious waste of money and i see t9 maps as a tedious waste of time due to how many of the things you need to run to make that exp bar move .
