WOW GGG banned a Master Supporter player

just follow the rules and you'll be fine. They've done a great job at catching everyone cheating/rmt-ing. Even though I don't agree with their nerfing policies, I don't do anything stupid because at the end of the day, i still like this game.

Seems like the posting isn't even about the x Islamic State account who got caught using a 3rd party tool during a 1 month race but another smaller one.


And I was hoping for a ban because of a chargeback *g*

They are activating their cheatdetection when they feel like. They did it on small races so far because they saw what did happen after they activated it during the start of a league.

Even with warnings on certain sites they caught almost 10k and would have caught more.

Why add QoL if the amount of cheaters is "2%"(maybe 2% on all league created accounts many mules as well)?

They delete because it's their forum rule, they force reddit mods to delete such submissions as well.

I remember I got all data of players having posted 20 challenges when there were 5 or 6 cheaters among the first 50.

Not only did GGG instigate/force the reddit mods to clean up they also didn't post the 50 winners.

Try to find the banwave of almost 100 last year on reddit. There were many submissions shaming caught ones, several got deleted and some got deleted weeks later.


GGG doesn't want a bad image of high tier players that's why they influence reddit as well and they can do so. No more API's, no streamer/yt exclusives and so on.

But it's not the only company doing so.

Larger companies don't care if certain streamer gets bashed when he got caught botting+banned.

There was an incident on Garena recently when they(Garena) banned 97 active players by the list provided by GGG. "Only" took 3 attempts from Garena administration to ask for proper investigation of issue which resulted to 89 of them to be unbanned. GGG replied twice with words "bans are 100% correct, anti-cheat can't be wrong" and I have added 8 bots(ones we can see in town who are stuck near stash) like 3 month ago to friend list, they are still alive and well.

It's 'scot-free'. And his the status as a streamer should not protect a him from what should have been a full account ban and lock.

I worked for a "BIG GAME COMPANY" T3 Support, finding hacker/Exploiters together with the devs for a while. Using Exploits was rarely a bannable offense there. It mostly depends on how big the scale is, and even then "WE" took away certain things a player got from exploiting the game warning and/or limited suspension.

Ive been banned and unabnned before and ive only spent around 200 usd.

So yeah.
