Hi there
I have always wanted to make a melee staff Templar, and have tried a few times, but always hit a brick wall in merciless. If I build for damage, I have no defense and die to 1-2 hits of normal monsters. If I build for tankiness (max staff block + armor) then damage is low and can't finish quests. I want to be tough and do good damage (maybe not high damage, but good). I play self-found solo. I like old-school skills like Sweep and Leap Slam but haven't been able to make them work. I usually have a totem as part of defensive strategy. What skills would you recommend to use with a two-handed templar who specializes in staff weapons? Skill: you tell me please Crit, Elemental, or Phys: mainly physical with elemental adds + resolute tech Which league are you planning to play this build on? (if standard, i can help gear): Talisman What type of weapon will you want to use? e.g.: Dagger, Wand, Sceptre, Mace, Staff, etc: Staff What level are you planning to level this build to? (need to know for point allocation): low 70's |

Skill: Don't know. Crit, Elemental, or Phys: Physical damage Which league are you planning to play this build on? (if standard, i can help gear): Talisman Hardcore What type of weapon will you want to use? e.g.: Dagger, Wand, Sceptre, Mace, Staff, etc: Any readily obtainable 2-handed weapon. This will be a self-found character, so I can't pick my weapon. What level are you planning to level this build to? (need to know for point allocation): I plan on stopping when I complete normal, but I tend to grind a bit higher. My witch was 46 when she beat Dominus, but i've never completed the new material. I'm open to any profession as so long as it uses 2-handed weapons. I have never played a 2-handed weapon build in any ARPG. | |

I've been trying to make a shadow but with little to no currency at my disposal it's nigh impossible to get most of the uniques people use on the forums, so I was wondering if you could assist with a build that would work
Skill: Bladefall (when I had seen it come out, it's seemed super fun) Crit, Elemental, or Phys: clearspeed (so whichever is best to clear quickly and not die, I guess) Which league are you planning to play this build on? (need to know for point allocation): max Also, I don't really know how to level people who aren't specifically going to be using flame totem lol so help with a leveling one would be swell if you could :P |
