Constant lag spikes

amsterdam and frankfurt servers having lagspikes.

hi,

i have also problems...

ping is 30ms, but the game is stuttering a lot in locksteps... doesn´t feel smooth....
Getting 15ms then occasional spikes to 1 - 2 k ms every 10 - 20 mins or so, happens on lockstep and predictive. Lockstep is more likely to kill me when it happens, predictive is safer I have found. Even still it's massive desync when it occurs. Playing on steam client

Hate devs trying to blame our connections when the fault is clearly at their end.

Obvious packet loss at GGG servers this is amsterdam:

hi all,

i got the same problem with the Frankfurt server since patch 2.0 was released. Log In works fine, also joining in town, but when i try to continue playing it crashed about 80% the time i tried. I have red the forum posts, but i cant find an answer from the staff, what the problem is :/

same here. u have 31% packetloss on one of those networklayer.com hosts in between the server. i did a winmtr test a few days ago and had the same issues. some 20% packetloss on 3 hosts between the server. same networklayer.com hosts i think.

not sure ggg can do anything about this. it seems to be the hosts in between that is the problem. MOSTLY.

had to turn off lockstep. atleast it's somewhat playable with predictive mode. with lockstep it's a lagfest.

yes this happens if you use lockstep. switch back to predictive mode for the time being. it smoothens out lag somewhat better.

Tried the classic mode and I get crazy dsync, the spikes are just hidden until you desync.
Looks like they're back on the dallas server.

No gusto.

Yeah, spiking to 1400+ from 28 ms.

Makes mapping pretty hard to justify in Tempest when shit can one hit you.
Lack of response from GGG is pretty lame.

i cant even log in on game, and if i do, i got disconnect before i go to my hideout, i was playing league of legends without problems, im from brazil, using GVT.
Im getting huge spikes in town and after a while i get disconnected.
Im using Texas gateway, and everything else is fine with my internet.
Yup. Can't even get to my hideout. :(
Swapped to cali/DC server still getting spikes

Can't really map in this situation due to the one shot mechanics prevalent everywhere.

Why can't this be addressed?
