but isnt 5x the explosion + the burn damage better than having 1x explosion and a little bit more damage on that single explosion? even with -50% projectile damage isnt this better?

No, GMP is terrible for EA in almost all situations. With a proper setup, the burn does 7x the damage of the initial hit. With GMP all you do in gimp your burn damage and make it super easy to die to reflect. Burn does not get reflected and multiple burns from GMP do not stack.

But you do not have to believe me. Try out GMP and no gmp.

Just found out the taunt from decoy totem makes enemies not run away when they are burning. Decoy totem is pretty much required because of that. Ups clear speed a lot vs humanoids.

Thats also a reason why i was prefering decoy totem over RAT :)
Rerolled EA for Onslaught btw. It's a diffferent game when there are so few quality gems around. Will it have a big impact if i cant get quality on my gems in early map stage?

Playing Anarchy and its rly hard to obtain q gems to level them. U can just hope that u find a couple of GCP at the beginning and then try to get hands on a %EA, which might be the most important to level and have quality on.

By the way, as you can see I fell for the Divine Supporter Pack. I just LOVE the weapon effect and I needed points anyway, plus I can need a t-shirt for summer that nobody else in my town will wear lol (will take the Tabula Rasa one). And as I intent to play the game at least until ~mid 2014, when it's completely released and in German language (with my girlfriend joining me then as well) it's well invested money, plus GGG deserve it! :)

Currently only lvl 25 in Anarchy. Leveling is harder if you cant refer to items and gems you already found. Still using Ground Slam :S

Well, according to the wiki "The totem has it's own base life for the level of the gem that made it [1]. This is separate from the Increased Totem Life it gets each level."

Ranged attack totem does not get "increased totem life" when it levels. So I imagine a level 20 decoy totem with 20% quality would have 1.68 times more health than a ranged attack totem.

My question is really if a Decoy lvl 20 Q20 survives enough time in high level maps to worth using instead of skell+totem.


Yes. A level 20 totem doesn't die to phys attacks, especially if you throw out some blinds. Skele totem is alright but I really do not like it because of the high amount of gems needed and very slow cast speed.

I found that acrobatics + alchemist node allows me to do no regen maps very easily. I get 315 regen from sapping potions + alchemist, and I have less life so the potion matters more. Life on hit also is more effective.

Reflect does become more dangerous, though.
