Surely "lol" posts should be removed simply because they are pointless, along with most other one-word replies.
I actually believe simple "+1" and "-1" types of posts are valid feedback, despite their lack of attached reasoning. Ideally there would be a "like this post" and/or "dislike this post" feature, but until then I believe such things should be allowed.
I agree there should be (dis)like feature, but I don't agree with filling threads with "(+/-)1" posts.
Just think of a +1 as "I enjoyed this post, and GGG really needs to hurry up on that like feature." ;)
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

The regulars are on probation all the time and I even miss the blatant shitposters, that's how bad it is. I'm actually working at work instead of lurking the forums. This sucks.
I think you probably meant this tongue-in-cheek, but if by "fun" you do mean trolling, shitposts, filling threads with rubbish etc, then I hope these forums continue to not be "fun" permanently. There are many many other places on the web for that kind of thing.

Along with "QFT," those are, I feel, a legitimate and inoffensive part of internet culture. Or would unnecessary wall-o'text replies be preferable? =^[.]^=

You managed to find GD.
Not something one achieves in a 5 min coffee break, any more.
I referenced to "game of thrones" as a bad tv series. My post was deleted. Can't even have opinions here.
I looked into this, and you're right. That comment shouldn't have been removed. However, the action was taken prior to the forum guidelines changing and talking to the support team. I hope that these kinds of issues will start to be resolved as we set into a place a new set of internal guidelines. If you find something like that is happening - please contact me! I'll look into it.
The forums are not your playground to do as you will.
Why shouldn't they be? This isn't wikipedia. It has no bearing on anything important at all: ever.
I believe that for GGG this forum is quite important. Run your own company. Allow everyone to write everything on your company-forum then. Pay the mods to delete every bullshit there hurting your company. Pay the lawyers, if anything really serious is happening because everyone is allowed to act as he or she wishes. And so on.
This is all i can say about this. This is a website connected to a company who has to keep on going. Risking this for some troll-bullshit or the freedom to discuss religion and stuff in here? No really no. There is so much space in the web for stuff like this. But this forum here? Business. Nothing more. And regarding this, it is quite a very liberal place ;)
The Sirus fight is a disgrace.
