This is not what I mean. If I click "Z" is shows everything, not just the thinks highlighted by the script. However, I want to just be shown the scripts highlighted items permanently. Any way to do that?

"Z" is the right answer.

Please note that this might be occuring to you, bcause you're testing it out in a low level area. The highlight by the filter depends on the level of the area you're in.

Until level 8-12 (depending on version) the filter filters absolutly nothing (only highlights, without hiding, because early on a lot of items can be useful), then it starts filtering more and more with each area level.

At level 65+ it'll filter 99% of all whites/blues (with the exception of 6-sockets, chance bases and similar stories).
