Well it is true to some extent. If you just buy up everything of a certain kind, a certain unique and all of its divination cards as one example you can pretty much control that market and dictate the price of this item.

Alright- but is there evidence that AXN is doing those things? (Beyond mirrored gear, which affects practically no one in this game.)

So it's all or nothing John? You either have to have all mirror gear or self found? Mirrors are a straight up luxury item. With terrible price/performance. There are plenty of builds that do hardest content in the game w/o them and mostly mirrored just do it a bit faster.

There was a dagger I wanted from him and had 250ex laying around but when prices shot up from 250ex to 500ex post eternal cancellation I was like fuck that noise. I still do uber with a 3ex dagger. John you don't need anything he has. No one does.

Your looking at staffs well PoH is great for caster and Hegemony for attackers and affordable and anything a mirror can do they can too.

I totally agree with all of this.

The major problem with perfect crafted gear is that if you have played this game from the start then you know that most of those mirrored perfects were not crafted using 100 exalts and at a massive risk to the crafter now those ACCOUNTS were certainly banned but much of the gear is still in the game.

What difference does that make to a self found player some may ask well that one is easy GGG have shown repeatedly that they balance around extremes and are constantly adjusting the drop rates based on how much gear/orbs exist as a whole. Now if 6-8 people have all the gear and most if not all the orbs (particularly mirrors) then that balance is horribly biassed towards a type of player that 99.9% of the player base are not and can never be.

They should have had a vote when they removed eternals whether or not to wipe all gear made using them.It would have been massively harsh but i think it would have fixed a great deal of the problems we have both with build power balance and the stupid monopoly culture that is the poe economy.
