Updated 8/10-Crown of eyes nerf=50% of modifiers to spell damage also apply to melee attacks.

" That's not really what Chris said. Only numeric value nerf does imply legacy for some technical reason. If you change what a mod does, it will apply to all item using this mod, old as new... IGN TylordRampage

" They did. They did that a lot actually. Whenever they change how a mod works they nerfed already dropped items. Latest time that happened was with Life-Leech. If they change an entire mod that has no numeric value to change there will be no legacy. For Mjölnir the idea with an internal CD is actually a fairly likely change. And it will definitly not generate a legacy, because that would require a different tech I assume. When a mod is tied to a certain mechanic that changes it would would be hard to keep it the same, because they would basically have to make an entirely new Crown of Eyes with a different mod. So except for Windripper both items are at danger being changed without generating a legacy item, because in both cases the rest of the stats aren't really a problem and reducing the chance on mjölnir even further might also not achieve what you want. And since they already used an internal CD to fix CoC it isn't unlikely that they will do the same with Mjölnir, its actually the most likely situation. If this happens the best thing to do is sell Mjölnir now when its still worth something (although the change will most likely only hit a few extreme builds). For CoE it is actually more likely that they fix certain other stuff like Bloodrage. The Attackspeed was intentionally made to allow you to leech back up more efficiently when you drop low, because attack-based lowlife builds where much rarer before Shavronnes. So reducing the attack-speed bonus and calculating the chaos-dot by ES + Life might be something to do. |

GGG could just stop dropping completely borked items. Similar to Voll's devotion never dropping again.
I'm in favor of legacy items if it brings balance to the game I don't need to see any of these... Mjolners Crown of imbalance Shavronne's walk over everything And I have the currency to trade for them or get mirrors if I want, but I don't want to faceroll everything and quit out of boredom. echo "The world is full of smart people" |sed -e 's/smart people/sheep/'

" Ye cool story bro! |

" Are you actually suggesting a CoE, shavronnes, build doesn't faceroll absolutely everything ? I would rather sit on my mirrors and watch their value go up and up and up and up giving me the opportunity to trade for multiple build enabling uniques in the future rather than just 2 uniques for 1 build I'll be bored with in an hour. It's just my playstyle and to each their own.... but for me a challenge is fun, no challenge at all is boring. echo "The world is full of smart people" |sed -e 's/smart people/sheep/'

These changes should be common sense to anyone who has been playing this game for a significant amount of time. Not surprised at all.
