Updated 8/10-Crown of eyes nerf=50% of modifiers to spell damage also apply to melee attacks.

Not really since it also applies to elemental damage and the top tree does not have a lot of those nodes for attacks.

And since there are 16% nodes, it's a passive point saved which is a lot at end-game.

If this change goes true like the OP describes, then you will indeed be correct and it will only be utilized in conjunction with "more" multipliers.

Crown of Eyes is not op
Windripper is not op

Shavronnes Wrappings (Blood Rage, Pain Attunement, Righteous Fire) and Atziri Gloves are op, and not even designed by supporters, supporter are better than balancing the game then devlopers, sad but true,

op is so bad at the game mechanics that he doesnt know that the 40% lightning damage with weapons doesnt effect the spells in mjölner at all

Why would people use crown of eyes if the tree offers 4x 16% spell damage nodes (currently) with the change you suggested.

you would make it RF only or low life only.

While now it does serve those builds, but not exclusively.

You realize spectral throw is not the only gem in the game right? there are plenty of melee gems that still benefit greatly from crown of eyes. Or have you only played spectral throw?

And i still laugh with your proposed change since it is a direct attack on the st/low life meta without consideration of all the other builds that can utilize this item atm.

You would still get the "more" multiplier from pain attunement which is a big deal I guess. I am always anti nerf actually. I like the OP items, as I said I collect them. I think that at level 90 and above you should faceroll all content. Just because I am explaining to you what the nerfs will be doesn't mean I created, designed them, or wanted them. I don't advocate anything I'll be fine either way. Why are you so angry? can't you just have a civil discussion with these people?
