I enjoy the trading system, economy is FINE (NOT A TRADER), I enjoy the crafting system

I feel like players like me need a voice on the forums. I don't want GGG to get the impression that most players on this forum want self-found, etc etc hate the trade system. I do NOT want this game to become another D3, because in D3, I watched people QQ on the forums, and the game got changed to in my opinion a version that I absolutely hate. I have played in all types of leagues.

First of all I will emphasize that I am not a trader by any means. I just farm currency, pick up upgrades when I can, and I am doing 75+ maps. The only time I trade is when I get a decent drop to sell, or I save enough money for an upgrade.

The thing is people keep saying standard economy is inflated etc, prices are inflated etc. THEY ARE NOT!! Nowadays 5 links are around 10-15 chaos, and most unique items are way within reach. The only extremely expensive items are windripper koams, shavronnes, and 6 links etc. Which I can live with and I understand - some items are gg for a reason. IN FACT standard is getting cheaper to buy nice high level items by the day. Really... you don't need gg items to finish the game.

In fact, STANDARD IS CHEAPER THAN THE NEW LEAGUES. Yeah, shavronnes, koams, mirrors are 1/3rd of the price they are on standard, but go look at the price of carcass jack in standard vs 1 month and see which on is cheaper.

I really don't understand what the QQ is about the economy?? DO you really think you deserve all the gg items??

It really isn't impossible to do all the content in a moderately fast way without trading all day. OK fine, maybe there are a select few who are ultra rich from trading all day but so what??

A 5 link lioneyes bow is 3 exalts, which is an ENDGAME item, easily within reach.

I enjoy farming currency, getting a good drop or 2 every now and then that I sell for an exalt or 2, and looking around poe for bargain deals and upgrades. Thats why I loved D3, but now D3 is a different game due to all the qq.

TL DR: The economy is NOT broken now, The crafting/game/trading/farming system is perfect now, and I like it the way it is. Don't make this a Diablo 3. This is POE.

P.S Great job GGG on making a fantastic game, and for providing me with many hours of fun!!

The fuq, this game has one of the shittiest crafting systems. You can probably save a bunch from buying it off somebody then crafting it yourself.

The current prices have evolve to a point where the price to 5 link a 6 a great piece is equal to the cost of an already 5 linked item.

Also, not everybody should be able to craft gg items. Then what's the point? Faceroll all content? GG items should be and are expensive and rare.

At the basic level of crafting everthing is ok - rolling 2 stats, rerolling a stat, chaosing, fusing jewelling. What more do you want? For everyone to be able to create gg items?

Its good that there is RNG involved. Makes it a huge currency sink.

You said crafting, but I'm sure you meant to write gambling instead.

It's a honest typo and I forgive you this time, just be sure not to make that mistake in the future. :)

There's nothing wrong if you like these aspects of the game. It means you have fun playing the game, not being concerned about certain mechanics which the majority of players use to treat as "flaws".
But you also have to keep in mind you are a part of a minority.
So don't be surprised by the reactions of a greater part of the participants on forum.

How can you enjoy the Trading system if you are not a trader?
It's like, I enjoy Path of Exile but I'm not a player.

Trade is a dimension of the game I enjoy. But I don't play this game to trade, and I'm not the typical description of "only trade to win in this game" type cast players.

And I am not the minority - although I know that the crafting system is more up in the air, I do know that there is a vocal minority of players that are anti trade, pro self found, who keep starting new threads again and again. This is what happened in diablo 3, and I do NOT want it to happen again in POE.

I like this idea, the forum being flooded w/ threads about people who dislike this game far outweighs those who do because well...people who like the game mostly just play it.

Who would want to subject themselves to GD. I do, and each time I wonder why.

Unfortunately, the types of threads that are common make it seem like some sort of majority that do not like the game which I do not for one second believe. Dying games have certain trends that GGG and POE are simply not exhibiting.

Flood the forum just like they do. Love the idea.

This game is really fun and steps out of the norm in so many areas. Things do need to be improved in some areas and I've noticed a trend of patches that are addressing things that people commonly bitch about. Just none of them were the 'magic bullet' that they want. SFL'ers....well they will never be happy because they wont get what they want, and when they do -- they still wont be happy so there is no winning there.

You dont have to be a trader to like the aspect of the game that you can trade items with other players at anytime.
