Dominus is to hard for melee characters
" but that's the game's biggest problem in general isn't it ? all these neat skills that are a complete pain in the ass to use because of desync. whirling blades is my favorite skill ever. and it gets me killed quite a bit. I don't actually see much problem with desync in Dom encounter. it's just the stupid FoG, shocking ground, totems, teleport, .... blah blah blah very rarely do i have characters that can beat him on merciless at anything less than level 80. for a level 68 boss. ridiculous. oh, and for the record, the major difference between those builds that can and can't ? spell block, of course. remember a level 1 shield with stone of lazhwar significantly increases your chance of survival. seems kind of broken to me. and 2H against Dom ? tedious. very tedious. |

" Not sure if trolling or not, rewatch the colby video. There is a reason why they 80% of the times facetank the ToG attack in both those video's. ( aldo you simply like to ignore all those face-tanks and try to emphasize on the few times they actually do jump out of the way) Normal dominus is no threat whatsoever, if you have 900hp +- and 75 lightning resist, you can facetank a smash. Thus nullifying any threat he possesses. You can read that as = desync proves no issue there because it is not punished by a one-hit-ko, same goes for merciless dominus if sufficiently geared. Which is why i focus on palace dominus, where a screw-up is either punished with a lost character or -10% experience and where desync issue's are highlighted because of that punishment. There is a reason why palace dominus is "skipped" constantly and it has nothing to do with the mechanical side of the fight, which in a desync free environment, would indeed be a cool and justified battle. Also i am not "whining". The things i am telling you are very well known by a lot of experienced players and should often be repeated to remind GGG of these issue's, specially when new content is being released. Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
