Just follow my lead and buy a new game. There is this game where you can reap souls. It runs perfect on ATi cards.

Thanks for advice, but I am not really a gamer...I like this game a lot because of its atmosphere and GGG´s ethical standards. So I play to relax, not for competition. I can live pretty well without playing ;) Can you ? ;)

This thread is full of bullshit.
By the way, ATI cards have horrible drivers since years, deal with it or buy quality.
I run 100+ fps on PoE with my old nvidia card.

I had terrible GPU for a long time (ATI HD5450 64-bit) and decided to change my video card simply to enjoy PoE in full detail.

I have purchased NVidia's Geforce GTX 750 ASUS 1GB for merely 100 euros. not only PoE runs smoothly in 1920x1080 with full details but the card also included coupon for 150 USD to use in 3 games (50USD for each), one of which is PoE. I used up the coupon and received 500 points for mtx.

It was a very good deal, since the card is like 10-15x times faster than my previous one, cost about 63-64 euros if taking into acount 50USD coupon for PoE.

So personally, I am very glad I have Nvidia's card for such a low price.

"Well, then. Where is he now?" - "I killed him," said Kane.

So what do we say? Fuck AMD and make a wise decision and buy nvidia next time.

Completely agreed. Too many games aren't optimized well for ATI GPU's, example: even though one ATI GPU is much faster than Nvidia's one, NVidia's GPU will run most of the games better.

Of course that I've figured that out after I've bought AMD spec, and now I'm not recommending AMD to anyone, in fact, I'm advising everyone to get away from that crap, just fuck it.

I can run Starcraft 2 on medium without dropping below 30 FPS, but I cannot run PoE without severe FPS drops which happen very often, even in solo play since the SoTV release, and the Texture Quality is 4, which means that the graphics are on par with Diablo 2.

It's just how it is, some games run how they should and some are just screaming for uninstall.

I have two Nvidia cards (550Ti, 570). PoE runs bad on both.

Do you see "The way it's meant to be played" when you load the game?

In light of the fps drops and desync, Nvidia's marketing department would have to be crazy to pay for that. (SCNR)
Got an ATI Card and the game runs at 60+ fps 95% of the time. Only heavy weather and dense foliage tends to dip it below 60 when I run the game on maxed settings.
