No doubt it can't compete some other OP/geared builds.
Then it comes the sick LL RF PA to restore justice.

No offense, nobrainer skill is a nobrainer.

Oh, you mean that shit build that rerolls more than half its maps because it cannot do .... curse immune, 75% fire resistant, no regen, half regen, -max, vuln, ele weakness?

Cool story, shit build is shit. Yes some rmter downed atziri with it, but it took him half an hour and he snapshotted FROM THE TREE before going into the room.

You need to be super geared for any build to work perfectly.

Life-based RF is easy. Just grab all the life nodes and life regen nodes you can. Also make sure to grab Diamond Skin and Elemental Adaptation. That's really all there is to it; life nodes are DPS nodes for a RF build.

Grab even the 0.4% regen nodes; you'll eventually need them to handle half-regen and/or Vulnerability maps (and Ele Weakness is handled by overcapping resists; make sure you cap out everything without Purity of Elements, and with enough spare mana to turn Purity of Elements on if you need it). -max and no-regen are still bad news. There's no such thing as too much life regen for a RF build.

Well damn, that seems real easy.

Why don't more people use this build though? Sorry I'm just entirely unfamiliar with it.

EDIT: I just saw Colby's video. His build relies on snapshotting. I guess the build will be much much worse when it's removed?

I havent heard anything about fixing the snapshot glitch, also blessed hammer + concentration was a glitch in d2.

You only need a rise of the phoenix. Snapshotting does the rest.
i use a secret account because i am a politician that doesnt want the NSA to know i play poe.
The only map mods I can't do (could, but using Searing Bond through the whole map would take a while) are -% max resists and no life regen. All the other ones (ele weakness, and whatever other ones that other poster listed) are all manageable.
Fire Resistance mods - Elemental Equilibrium helps, and clear speed is still good.
Half Regen/Vulnerability - Just need to have the extra regen, and Blood Dance helps for this.

I could probably handle Blood Magic maps, but it would be difficult and risky.

RF is still strong without Snapshotting. Plus with Doryani Sceptre you can still get a good damage boost.

Gear isn't expensive. Just need Rise of the Phoenix, which goes for 2 exalted.

If it weren't for this

I would actually go for Doryani's Catalyst, but since I am ES RF build, it does me no good. Tough to replace the weapon when you get like 50% increased maximum ES. I am glad it is a cheap weapon to begin with.

Of course, my most expensive gear, and made my ES RF build a bit overkill is this guy

Saved me a lot of passive points from trying to get more regen. Of course, I can go without the ring, but Vulnerability maps might be a little tough to do.
Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

Hdin was pretty damn brainless in 100% of pvm and 80% of pvp. There were a few pvp matchups where you actually had to desynch charge and stuff, but it was almost always "lol namelock and hammer".

But yeah I largely agree. Good thing most RF builds die of boredom.

dude... have you ever played a hammerdin? it was insanely hard to tele right on top of meph or baal and throw hammers.

Man... hammerdins were so squishy that if you didn't kill baal in like the first two minutes you were dead

I play LL RF, and PA doesnt scale it.

But yeah, I can do atziri in 3 mins, the full clear.
