Are the Devs still making the game they want to play?

All it shows is how many want to use those modes. The fact it is not many does not make it wrong.

The cool part of this argument is that it's tackling the title question of this thread from the opposite direction. I mean, I personally think it was a bad idea for them to cave on their initial idea on loot tension for all (yes, even you)... and a good idea for them to not get around to doing paid leagues. I like to hope their lack of progress in that department belies a certain internal reluctance on their part which was hiding since the beginning... but that's just silly speculation. The point being, I think there's more than one angle at which to tackle the titular question; this thread needn't be exclusively about loot options. At least in terms of our little back-and-forth, for some reason I doubt we'd ever convince each other.

Yha a FFA ladder is a bad idea of obvious reasons.

I think this post is more about how we get more people enjoying FFA and making it a more positive option for people to play with both it public type setting but also with thare friends.

As for the people who want to have some sort of punisment to the "ninja looter" i kind of like that idea but it would have to aplie to all players cuz in FFA nothing is your loot till it's in your bag . So how this would work IDK

Ok hear is a interesting idea. mabey a race idea to try it out.

FFA loot mode only !

Picking up any loot or curency debuffs your character for 1.25 secounds 200 % incressed damage taken. Effect can stack 3 x

All instances are public.

2 houre race .

This would mean that ranged vs melley characters would both have to find diffrent timeing to loot. balancing saftey vs loot grabs. Safest to thin out the mobs first but then it becomes that the characters with no inital argo ( the ranged characters ) can move in for the loot grab early.

Might be interesting to try.
