I am very young so my list is composed of fairly new games:
1. Elder Scrolls series- always loved those because of the lore, immersion and mods of course. 2. Bioware games- Dragon age Origins and Mass Effect series. These are my favorites because of the dialogue options and epic story lines. 3. Assassins Creed for the story of course :) Nothing is true, everything is permitted.
