My top 3

Blade Runner
1) Diablo 2
This is basically the game I grew up playing, it was my first real online RPG infact it was my first online game as well, I remember when I was only 11, spending hours playing with friends after biking from school, doing cow runs all day, this game probably holds some of my happiest childhood memories.

2) Starcraft
I was never very good at Starcraft, but I always enjoyed playing it, even if I did get angry and stop playing for a week because my cousins always beat me at it, overall it was a great game, and it let you play such a nice variety of custom games, it always felt like a new game walking into a custom map you had never seen before, I think I got this a year after Diablo 2, and I still play both every now and than.

3) The Legend Of Zelda : Ocarina of Time
This was probably the hardest to choose, because after SC and D2 there are just so many awesome games I've played over my lifetime, however I think I'll always enjoy playing Ocarina of Time, I remember putting that gold cartridge into my Nintendo 64 and starting it up, how awesome the intro was, how great the graphics were, this game was a FULL 3D Zelda, something truly wonderous at the time, sitting down with my cousins and just playing Zelda all day.

(Other worthy mentions)
Mass Effect : Mass Effect 3's ending actually ruined my day, I couldn't do anything else after beating it because of the compelte lack of closure, a great game, that really makes you care about the characters.

Counter Strike : Always fun :) but not something I'd include in my top 10 games.

Paper Mario : This game was ingenious, honestly a mario RPG? and the battle system worked so well for newbie RPG players.

Final Fantasy : From I to X (not X-2) to XIII, all of these games were great, and had fantastic stories. (a few of them lacked a bit on the story side, but they were still pretty fun)

Donkey Kong Country : Still a great game :)

Edit : Sorry about my "brief" description, but I really don't think 2-3 lines would be enough to describe how I feel about these 3 games.

1. Gothic
2. Gothic 2
2. Assassins Creed: Brotherhood
"Is there such a thing as an absolute, timeless enemy? There is no such thing, and never has been. And the reason
is that our enemies are human beings like us. They can only be our enemies in relative terms."
Beyond Good & Evil
Planescape: Torment
Diablo 2

I really don't think I need to explain any of these.
Games were better when devs didn't listen to player feedback.
Legend of Zelda - Oracle of Ages

Monday Night Combat

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
