Your TOP 3 games of all time
What are the top 3 games in your lifetime? More of what impacted you and stuck out. Not necessarily the most fun. And a brief description.
I would have to say: AutoRacing on Intellevision- The memories of playing with my dad and finding all the secret routes. Super Mario Brothers- When that came out, the graphics were simply amazing. I was blown away and thought "How can these get any better"... Demon's Souls-This game really brought back the old school toughness in a game. One of the best games I ever played. Can't wait for Dark souls next week. I kind of picked three from different generations. There are a lot more that stick out for me though. Shaymon |

Resident Evil - Just plain spooky, and first iteration on this gametype that mattered.
Diablo 2 - Best RPG concept, randomization was beautifully done. Darkfall - Unmatched Pvp experience, period. Nothing even comes close to the player vs. player combat in this game. I hope the upcoming relaunch fixes the problems with the current game. Last edited by Smasherface#1077 on Sep 26, 2011, 7:13:15 PM

Wow, this is a tough question. I would have to say my top 3 favorite PC games of all time are:
World of Warcraft - My favorite MMO of all time. Played multiple characters to max level and had fun playing it for 5+ years. X-Com UFO Defense - Best turn-based strategy game of all time in my opinion. Sure wish someone would make finally remake this game with modern tech instead of stupid 3rd person/fps spinoffs. Diablo II - Best action rpg of all time! Last edited by xandor1970#0869 on Sep 26, 2011, 7:18:14 PM

Yeah picking only three is tough. All the games you guys mentioned are great too. I am still playing Diablo 2.
Have not played Darkfall though. Wow was such a time sink for me I just quit myself after playing since beta...I always wanted to quit just couldn't :( They know how to keep you playing that is for sure :) I bought SC2 and played for an hour..such a shame and I blame wow for that :) Borderlands was very fun. I sure hope 2 is even better. More farmable bosses and more item types would be great :) i.e armor etc. |

" You should definately try Darkfall eventually. They do have a free two week trial you can play. Currently the population is a bit thin because Aventurine is relaunching the game in the next few months, but you can still find amazing pvp. If you decide you want to try it send me a pm and I'll get you into my clan so you can get straight into the action. Words cannot describe what clan combat is like in DF. You have to witness it for yourself. I plan on playing PoE and DF 2.0 for many years to come. They are such totally different games that there is mindspace for both of them for an average gamer. (the two games don't compete in the same market is what I'm saying) Last edited by Smasherface#1077 on Sep 26, 2011, 7:44:39 PM

Top 3... it's tough to choose, especially, when there we're loads of great games. Meh, jet's just start:
3. Soul Edge/Calibur (series): This one is my personal best in beat'em up games, maybe because it was the first ever side-scrolling fighting game with weapons... in 3D. In opposite to yet another Tekken clone it's brilliant. 2. Disciples 2 w/expansions: Another great yet not really known game. Disciples is a "clone" of Heroes, but instead of strategy, it puts it's focus on character development and tactical management of team. Simple, yet really cool. Of course Heroes are more popular, but hell. 1. TES series: Now this is what you call a RPG. Vast, open world, unlimited possibilities of character development and, by gods, the greatest idea of leveling up ever. TES is a masterpiece. Period. Sorry for my broken english ;p |

1. Diablo II - played this game on and off since it came out. Enjoyed the item hunt and pvp customization.
2. Guild wars - played it to the point I've been rank 1 worldwide in pvp. 3. Warcraft III - love the custom maps in this game. Still prefer its custom maps over starcraft II's due to the item system. Last edited by artdz#6199 on Sep 26, 2011, 8:02:23 PM

Ultima Online: First MMO, changed my gaming habit's forever.
Diablo series (D2:LoD if I have to pick only one): The awesome storyline and fast paced combat to get me hooked, and the the randomness and scores of different drops to get me keep playing, still playing it now and then actually. Dark Age of Camelot: Awesome PvP Stay safe!
