GGG, I have an intellectual question for you.
" How though? If everyone has amnesia in town, nothing happened so... "exile", "exiling", "exiled" can not exist without being brutally subjected to ontological arguments. because it's all in perception - it's not reality. It goes back to a guy writing bitch on his girl and always breaking her spirit by talking her down to trash level. it's illusion - it works, but why does it work? it works because people are idiots. a dangerous placebo effect You will never see a man faking anger, passion and relentless behavior. You will always see a man faking love, politeness and respectful behavior. Last edited by Deceptionist#1813 on May 7, 2014, 5:35:09 AM

" If I committed a crime and was never caught I'm still a criminal. Doesn't matter if everyone forgot, you were still EXILED to begin with. You can become "unexiled" you know. If everyone forgot in the town and then remembered you were still exiled. If everyone in the town forgot and you forgot you were still exiled. It's a physical thing that happens to you even if you forget because they PHYSICALLY use mass and force to do something to you. Last edited by RagnarokChu#4426 on May 7, 2014, 5:38:25 AM

" so what if I like hit my head real hard and become a new person am I still exiled? You will never see a man faking anger, passion and relentless behavior.

" If you hit your head and forgot you did the crime you still did the crime and will still go to jail if you were caught. If you become a new person and went to the said exiled place they would still hang you for not heeding their say of never coming back. This isn't a matter of existence or thought, exiling is a physical punishment. Last edited by RagnarokChu#4426 on May 7, 2014, 5:40:34 AM

" so in other words, the entire idea of "exile", "exiling" and "exiler" is flawed i mean you can't hang someone who is not the same person that was punished before - even if the body looks the same, it's still a new person therefore the real murderer - is the capital idea of exiling. therefore exiling is based on primitive thinking - not practical thinking therefore it can not be a law because it's based on flawed grounds You will never see a man faking anger, passion and relentless behavior.

" Yep. But the nature and history behind the word is exactly why I'm here to discuss it! It is ontological because it involves a twisted and obscure ruling over "self" - even though it requires the physical to be reprimanded. It's not logical because the "exiled" is like "the death mark" - there is no reasoning, there's no changing, there's nothing to it in spite of the exiled hitting their head and becoming someone that is a new person furthermore, the "exiles" as they are portrayed in this game have abilities and power that could lead them back to Oriath and settle things - if they wanted, so how do you exile someone that has the power to over-throw your entire city? Reminds me of a 8 year old that keeps asking why even though he already got a totally logical answer.
Also, they are not hanging his mind, they are hanging the body (the same body that was used in the crime. Call it a tool if you will. They are just destryoing a tool). And by your definition the 'body' is not 'you' so they are actually not hanging 'you'. “Demons run when a good man goes to war"

" The entire point of exiling is inherently an evil "murderous" thing a step behind just killing them but you want them to suffer a horrible prolonged death right. Like exiling them to the desert or something. Kinda like sending them to a murderous island full of monsters and bad shit were you have a glimmer of hope of escaping but 99.9% of the time end of being killed instantly. Saying that your exiled is a death mark technically in that reason because that's the original intent to begin with. Your spending too much time thinking about the "word" as oppose to why it was done in the first place. Last edited by RagnarokChu#4426 on May 7, 2014, 5:49:35 AM
