i only read the first 2 pages. and tbh i dont see why so much doubt, our characters are natives from oriath, wich where sentenced to exile thus becoming exiles. why are some saying that they are not exiles?

Labels are god now, hence why anything on a paper titled "Law" has to be followed, even though 7/10 of the laws are silly and absurd which have been made entirely for extra $$$ in the pocket because who knew making individual laws actually earned you more money, so might as well make a whole bunch of laws that can't be followed due to the insurmountable foolishness within it, while having a new law and more $$$. Here's another perspective.
Let's say I lived an entirely false identity with a wig, a costume that made me look like that individual. I do something to get myself exiled. I take off the disguise, sneak back into town. Who is exiled now? -- Let's say I don't have a disguise, but get myself exiled from town. The town's folk suffer from receptive amnesia. They do not remember they exiled me. Am I exiled now? Was I exiled? -- Is it all perception? You will never see a man faking anger, passion and relentless behavior.
