Good. When I did sell stuff, I have never used anything but buyouts as non-negotiable prices, since I have no interest in haggling or bartering.

This may actually make me play more. There should be fewer people now who whisper with "offers" when I explicitly stated I wasn't looking for any).

It's a better change than anything in today's patch notes.

If you look up an item and see there are dozens of them, all listed for the same price, it's a safe bet no one is actually buying them and they are not worth that price. Don't get all pissy when someone offers you something much lower.

Which price are you having an issue with? Alphas sells all day for 4.5ex.

There are literally hundreds of alpha howls for sale between 4 and 5 ex. If what you said was true, there wouldn't be any alphas on the forums for 4 ex. They would be instantly bought by a flipper.

There are actually 70 in ambush, where you linked to.

Tell ya what, go get an alpha for less than 4 ex (NON CORRUPTED!). Come back and post it.


This may shock you, but people gear up more than one character at a time. Alphas are not dropping. The ones that you see for 6+ ex, one of two things is happening.

1. Seller is an idiot. Very plausible.

2. It has 3 off colors or is corrupted with a very good implicit.

You Can easily waste an exalt + in chromatics trying to get GRRB on an Alphas. My guildmate spent over 5,000 chromatics to 4 off color his rainbowstrides.

Never said I could, and that was the entire point of my post. When there are so many available, no one is buying them and the price should go down. Instead what we get are idiots who aren't willing to accept this fact and negotiate.

When they were supposedly 5.5 ex in the first month of Ambush, I listed mine at 7.5 ex. I was told it would never sell, and I still didn't negotiate. In your words, that made me an idiot. It took two days to sell it at 7.5 ex.

You see, theoretical availability means little. So what if 50 people list theirs at 5.5 if the person who asks 7.5 is the one who is online? Or if you whisper ten people and are told ten times (after waiting each time) that they've sold theirs already? Instant gratification and availability are factors. I shop that way myself. Instead of asking a dozen people, waiting, and be told it's gone, I'd rather pay extra and get my stuff right away.

I had asked 7.5 ex because I wasn't desperate to sell it. I wasn't even sure if I wanted to sell it, since it was the best thing I had ever found myself.

It seems you are the one who needs to accept something: That you can either buy something at the asking price, or you find someone else. Getting annoyed at people who don't sell cheaply to you is silly.

That means they are *NOT* selling for that price. Otherwise they would have been flipped already. Doh. Echo echo.

If by sell, you mean pile up, then yeah, sure. There are 70+ listed for 4 exalts or more, this means they are absolutely NOT worth 4 exalts, no one is buying them.

I sold mine for 4ex in 2 minutes on broken ingame trade. Mayby you wanted it for 1ex or something?
